There's one thing we can count on. The draft. Jerry going to Dollar General to fill holes. Maybe trade for a player or two well past their prime.

Did anything carry over from the GB playoff lost?

Answer: consistent homefield competitiveness prior to Thanksgiving (which was arguably against the worst team in the league)

WHOOPS! I meant to type 'inconsistent'. My bad.

Then again, inconsistent homefield competitiveness carried over consistently from the wild card debacle, lol.

Let's try consistent inconsistency at home. Now we're on to something.

Scary quote.

Cowboys owner Jerry Jones on @1053thefan: "There's no question that you can carry over good play from one season to the next. Potentially we even did that, we carried over not-so-good play against Green Bay that we had in our last game in the playoffs last year. I think it's naive to think that you don't have carryover."

I agree. Carryover can go both ways .

What a dildo.. I have never hated anyone in my 62 years.. but I now hate this man with a passion.

Now I have to watch the playoffs again rooting for Detroit.

Then I have to make it through the offseason whilst he sits on his boat and can't even be bothered to pick up the phone and check some FA's out.

After all that next season starts and I will have a TINY bit of hope that this is the year... only to be disappointed yet again.

The NFL season used to be my fav time of the year.. this **** has now ruined it.

Yessss tell me to go find another team.. I wish I could.. unfortunately fandom doesn't work like that.

I have to hope I outlive the sack of ****

Jerry is correct. We carried over the bad play from last years final game into this year. Though it is a bit more complicated due to the fact he did nothing to make the team better in the offseason.
Exactly...............it was a self-fulling prophecy.

Get stomped in the playoffs.................do absolutely nothing in the offseason to get better, in fact make yourself worse...........start season off bad............claim "momentum" is to blame, LOL!!!

I am more convinced than ever that Jerry is dealing with aging brain issues. Last week he insinuated DLaw could be back for the Bengals game and almost immediately Stephen contradicted him. We need to stop listening to Jerry. I think he still matters, but whatever comes out of his mouth is probably not what is really happening in Dallas.

For maintaining relevance . A priority of Jethro. Plus what better puppets will we attract?
I hear you in that - given that we have Jerry - we don't have many good options. That said...things can get worse but they can also get better.

Better than what? This year ? of course . But as great as our glory eras. Not likely as long as Jethro intends on remaining GM.

Well, that and the regular season. We can't stop the run or play from behind. And Dak is easily fooled w/ the right D scheme.
