What a game like that is supposed to tell you is that you need to make moves to overtake those teams. Instead, we pretty much did the opposite, making even fewer moves than usual. One of the stupidest things ever said. That's a fan belief, in no way should an NFL GM be buying into silly fan sayings. Each new season is a brand new beginning w/ new players and often new coaches.

If someone has all these carryovers, could you point them out? The few that I'm aware of concern a young team on the rise. DET, for example. Winning a few meaningless games at the end of the season means absolutely nothing. And if a player needs that to play better, that is a weak player indeed.
