Zack Martin as nine games left in his career. No one is trading anything for him. No one is trading anything for Parsons without a deal in place as he’s not showing up for his fifth year without an extension in place. It is pointless to even speculate about trading either one them.
There are teams right now with injuries that would love to have Martin

Jerry Jones said:
I think we're having a rougher go than I anticipated. ... It is rougher, and I did not anticipate the challenges that we're having with this team.
Not surprising he is surprised. His football comprehension is likely not much higher than understanding how to play guard in a 1960's college offense. Guy probably sees a read option play executed and says to himself, "That's how Coach Broyles ran the belly back at Arkansas!"

If you making any trades, you need next year in consideration.

Someone like Chuba Hubbard for a late round pick or swap that you can sign to a decent contract that spans 2025 season allows you to fill a hole and also helps this year for whatever that's worth.
Exactly
Please please please do not make any trades for this year. This year is done
Think about next year at critical positions to make a trade but do not use a pick in rds 1-3

They’ll do nothing.

I think they need a wideout.. Someone like Romeo Doubs is what I’d expect.

Considering they're going to blow it up next year Jerry'd better be thinking more about being a seller at the trade deadline.

Pie, meat...sometimes I think they're doing this to troll McCarthy.
There's nothing this guy likes more than keeping everybody in suspense. Anything to get some attention. Probably doesn't amount to squat. An old player maybe that's on his way to retirement.

When was the last time Jerry intentionally blew up one of his teams? I mean you are correct that he should be looking at how to position the organization for 2025 but he either doesn’t know how to do that or he simply never wants to do that. Maybe both.

That’s why you have to pray Charlotte is named president of the team when he’s gone. She’s smart, measured, respected around the league and will let football people do their jobs. It’s the only way out.
I wonder what the real order of succession is. I am sure it is in Jerry's will. Stephen is obviously the next in charge, unfortunately.

He hasn't in the past even when he should've , but with the amount of 1 year contracts for both coaches and players and the number of FA's that he's made no attempt to renew I can't see any other logical goal for 2025.

The team sure seems to feel like he's going to, I think a large part of his apathy about 2024 and refusal to commit to all but a tiny number of veterans for 2025 has not gone unnoticed in the locker room.

Maybe I'm applying logic with Jerry when I shouldn't.

The years a wash. If they can find a young stud defensive player that can play in any scheme then sure.
