Takes two people to agree to any job opening. The employer. And the prospective employee. Either party can cement an employment. Or squash it before it ever happens.

Meanwhile, the resident Homers are biting their tear-soaked pillows while the rest of us realistic, non delusional fans try to figure how this team can ever get back on track
It's not non-delusional to be upset sir.

And exactly what makes you think this team can actually "get on track"? Where would you say we are trending?

And what say do you, I, or any 'Zoner have in the matter?

It is what it is dude.

We are emotional hostages until we decide not to be. Stressing who the coach is or what the plan is- has been pointless since 1995. Lol

Jerry has been disgusted before and none of his moves have changed how seasons end in Dallas. But I'm sure he'll get it right this time.
The salesmen in Jerry has to find someway to give the fanbase hope and sell the brand moving forward.
Be interesting what angle he will use?

If you wanna move on….there’s a real argument for it and I can’t blame anyone but I’m not moving on with BB. His best days are behind him and even his special teams unit, his pride and joy, sucked. Get someone in their prime

Get a stud RB, take the pressure off Dak and instill team discipline with Belichick...

But that's only if you want to salvage what you already have.

One of the dumbest play calls came early in the game. We get the ball backed up against our goalline after the Packers go down the field on our D. And what does McCarthy call? A deep shot to CeeDee. We should have been thinking about keeping our D off the field...instead THE REACTIVE DOOFUS tries to make it all up in one play. That puts too much pressure on the QB who is NOT Rodgers...

Any coach who comes has to see Dak for what he is. Belichick will do this...he can't help himself. It's called self-scouting...something DakStans can't do...being cheerleaders and all.

Unless Jerruh fires himself along with Fatso nothing will change. I also get the impression that Belichick just wants another payday.

I don’t see it. I don’t think BB wants to work for JJ. Why would he want to put up with JJ’s constant meddling? The culture in Dallas is the antithesis of how BB ran things in NE.
Because winning with the Cowboys is different than winning anywhere else.

It’s the perfect situation for Belichick.

Nobody can win in Dallas with JJ running the show. Any coach who works for him is neutered. This is not an ideal situation for anyone who wants to win big.
That’s exactly why Belichick will take this job.

Jerry the salesmen did not do a good job this year. Its the least amount I have watched the Dallas Cowboys play this year. It's not painful if you don't watch much of the game and you expect them to loose as I did this game. I suspect the Packers will make a game of it against the 49ers.

McCarthy and Quinn can both leave. Other franchises on the NFC are rebuilding and leap frogging us, hence Detroit and Green Bay

The Jones family have always showed McCarthy support -- albeit with the occasional cryptic message from Jerry Jones sprinkled in now and then -- but there's no way they aren't raging with anger after watching that.

There are bigger problems facing the organization than McCarthy, but a leadership change is needed after arguably the most embarrassing playoff loss in franchise history. It's like they were trying to be a disaster.

Belichick might not be everyone's cup of tea, but good luck thinking of anyone better to lead this current core. This franchise is in need of saving and Belichick's cape is bigger than any available head coach.

Shame on the Landry Hat for this clickbait nonsense.

Jerry turns his chair around and he’s “turning his back on the team. When he took a leak at halftime was he “peeing on the team”. If he had a number two was he “taking a dump on the team?”

And he threw down a piece of paper in frustration leads this genius “writer” to interpret that as Bill Belichik is on the way.

Just really trashy. Maybe I had missed this from that site before but this is just sensational nonsense.

I’m on board with a coaching change and even Belichik but I’m not just inventing “news” based on a two second clip from the broadcast taken without context.

BB won't help this team out either. The GM/owner allows the players to be soft and I doubt Bill will be able to override Jerry.
