They are more of a contender than we are at the moment. They won a playoff game at home to advance.

It is a fact that the Cowboys are not a team that was capable of contending for a Super Bowl.
The Cowboys beat Detroit.

Belichick is the perfect coach.

We have a vet team and you can bet he has something to prove to people who think it was “Brady”.

Give me a motivated Belichick please. No brainer.
Cowboys fan love retreads and mediocrity.

Why is McCarthy scapegoat when Dan Quinn obviously let the entire franchise down tonight with his fraudulent defense.

No way am I putting this all on Mike
i talked about this in another thread. i think you need a different voice in defensive room. maybe scheme change OR just get DQ some beef in the middle so we cannot have people running over us and using play fakes. i'd prefer new Defensive coach, someone mentioned Wink or one of the Titan Defensive coaches. Give Al harris a shot he was under Capers for years so he should know the 3-4 defense

You can bet that if Jerry fires MM, it will be in a few weeks after all of the interesting coaches with potential are already hired by other teams. Jerry is reactionary and almost never proactive. He'll find himself another yes-man and continue to get in the way of winning.

No more retreads (as if Belichick would even come here knowing Jerry will meddle and hamstring any coach.)

Perhaps in the NFL in the past. Nowadays it seems as though teams turnaround quicker.

We know this team will not get it done so we need to change it. This team isn't a piece or two away. They need wholesale changes.

Trotting out this same squad minus a few players is just wasting time. Make moves. Do what you have to do to trade up in the draft. Free up money and get some free agents in here and do something different.
Not saying it’s impossible just acknowledging it’s a lot harder than some are willing to accept.

You have to take a massive risk with a very low chance of success.

For every Purdy, there are hundreds of DiNuccis

For every Hurts (53rd), there are dozens of Quincy Carters (53rd).

Oh it's definitely hit or miss.

But we know what we have at the position is not the answer. We won't win a Super Bowl with him. So we need to take the position seriously and draft a QB with a top 3 pick. Of course we'd have to give up a ton of resources to acquire that pick. But at this point I'm all for it. The unknown is better than sticking with something you know won't win.

The Jones family have always showed McCarthy support -- albeit with the occasional cryptic message from Jerry Jones sprinkled in now and then -- but there's no way they aren't raging with anger after watching that.

There are bigger problems facing the organization than McCarthy, but a leadership change is needed after arguably the most embarrassing playoff loss in franchise history. It's like they were trying to be a disaster.

Belichick might not be everyone's cup of tea, but good luck thinking of anyone better to lead this current core. This franchise is in need of saving and Belichick's cape is bigger than any available head coach.

Our last best shot came when Parcells was hired. Probably the best coaching hire outside of Jimmy and of course Jerry screwed that up by bringing in TO on his own.
