Jerry Jones just announced that the Dallas Cowboys are partnering with H-E-B

Kroger is ️
And long before that it was Winn Dixie and everyone else I remember when the Cowboys right before they sold we're giving away tickets what every $100 worth of groceries purchased that's right the Cowboys were in such a bad place before Jerry bailed them out that they had to give away tickets at a grocery store... Is when there was real blackouts and they were worried about it cowboys don't worry about blackouts anymore they can put 80,000 people in every single game no matter how much hate or losing They keep having season ends..

But it's not a big deal Although HEB is not Kroger's If there's not one near me I am not seeking at ATB they built one in Mansfield and I'm not driving to get my groceries in Mansfield when I live in Arlington arlington has about 7 or 8 Kroger's in it and maybe 4 other grocery stores maybe there might be a few others but there really been dominated by Kroger so I'm not sure Kroger's is that worried about it overpaying for advertising with the Cowboys I don't think they need to Advertise as much as you think they do.

No Kroger's is not perfect i'm not happy with their fresh produce sometimes or other products but they are in my opinion the best one in the area for getting the best prices they have the best store brand offerings in my opinion that can compete or be as good as some of the high end big name products..

That's why I shopped there And no they're not perfect again I'm not a big Kroger fan but when you look at how many there are they've become like 7 eleven they're everywhere they even tried to buy Albertsons and it was blocked by the state or whoever approves they consider it a monopoly they were trying to buy them up...

So HEB needs to stop hiding Everyone's gonna say yeah but it's a niche place you come to them they don't come to you no until they build one in Arlington near my house within two miles I am not shopping there i'm not going out of my way i've never stepped in a new HEB I remember when the HEB is back in the 90s may even been the late 80s they they were buying up Piggly wigglies and they were no better than Aldi back then they were basically a low end Aldi so I'm glad they finally are making it into the conversation But I don't think Kroger's is worried about HEB..

Would love to go shopping there I even tried Aldi once I walked into some other spare part one and I think Tom Thumb is way overpriced and doesn't offer any really lower end brands they want you to buy everything that's really expensive and they're not that good Albertsons there's not enough of them so yes Kroger's dominates the area still I mean you brought them up for no reason so I thought I'd give you a long explanation of why I think they're not worried about it....

Witten, with his Albertson's affiliation, must be rolling in his grave
I don't think anybody's waking up and worried about who's being sponsored by the Cowboys and who's not I don't shop at places just because they're a Cowboys affiliate...

So, in plain English: H-E-B is essentially buying the Cowboys' grocery/pharmacy sponsorship category and getting Cowboys branding, stadium activations, advertising access, player appearances/content, promotions and community involvement in return.

More $$$$$$$$$$$$$$. It's good to be Jerry.
Lets all be thankful that he's managing THIS, rather than being hyper involved with the team.

Okay, i wish JJ would invest ALL his time doing stuff like this, its what he is genuinely good at. Now if he would employ a GM to take care of football stuff, it would be better for everyone right?
Not knocking JJ for pulling stuff like this off, but no other GM in pro sports is dedicating his time on things like this.
There's no other pro sports franchise that has a part time GM and it's a big reason we are in the 3 decade long SB drought.

Hire a real football GM and spend the remaining years you have left on doing stuff like this.
:hammer:

We actually have a VP of player personnel on staff named Will McClay. He does a very good job and his team handles the day to day grind of getting the team better. I know you probably think Jerry is looking at film 24/7 but he gets recommendations from Will and his team and the leadership group makes decisions based on that work.

Will McClay is not good at his job just because he’s hired by Jerry. Results????? Where are they? Take the binders off and see the product they’ve put on the field for the last 30 years.

who is going to hire a actual GM.....Jerry.....duh.....forget blinders...get a brain.....I'm not saying Jerry isnt the problem but the idea that he is looking at film and doing the things a day to day GM does is clueless.....

You missed the point…Will McClay is not good at his job. If he was, we certainly haven’t seen it on the field. You said Will McClay is good at his job. Where’s the proof ? I’m not a brain surgeon but I did stay at a Holiday Inn Express last night.
