Never a doubt, Campbell's Soup doesn't make mistakes. Oh, they might with the green bean casserole soups but the Chunky's? No way, they talked to Booger before they signed Dak as the spokesman.

I've had all I can take of this dysfunction.
Me too. My fandom is on cruise control. There is no need to get excited about this team anymore. Knowing that Dak will get an extension and knowing that he will be the QB for years to come, kills any slither of hope that I may have had for the future. Seeing the teams lack of reaction to an opposing player disrespecting the star showed me that they have no pride or respect for themselves, their team or the history of this franchise. Let’s face it, the current Cowboys are gutless wonders. How can fans continue to support this mess? I am not going to change to another team, but I will not spend a dime to support the Cowboys. I am not wasting anymore time watching this garbage .

For all the "Dak is the problem" guys... You may very well be right but my question to you, who is coaching him? Who is helping him get better?

Jason Garrett? Scott Linehan? Kellen Moore? What's their history with developing NFL-caliber quarterbacks? What have they done to make you think they've given Dak all of the tools and knowledge he needs to develop and Dak just can't figure it out?

Throw in the the celebrity-worshiping and zero-accountability atmosphere that Jerry created here and I don't see any processes in place that foster development for Dak (or any other QB for that matter).

Dak has real issues. He holds onto the ball too long, fails to see wide open receivers, forces things, etc. Who's doing anything about it?

The Dallas Cowboys woke up on Tuesday morning with a 3-5 record and seemingly a lot of soul-searching to do. As true as that is the world goes on and that means that Jerry Jones had one of his weekly appearances on 105.3 The Fan.

Jones addressed how the defense needs to play better, that Jason Garrett is aware of the team needing to improve, but he dropped a bit of a bomb whether intentionally or not. When talking about Dak Prescott, Jerry Jones literally said that Prescott was going to get extended.

Dak Prescott is eligible to be extended in the offseason and many once thought that would be when he got paid like a big-time NFL quarterback. Prescott hasn’t exactly played to those standards through eight games, and to be fair Jerry didn’t exactly say what the Cowboys would be paying him, but confirming that they would be extending the third-year quarterback is quite a vote of confidence.

Been a Cowboy fan for 30 years and the current state of the team is depressing. If there's no change then there's no hope. Why even try and continue on Sundays anymore? I want to be done with this team already.

Yeah, and those were his same sentiments about Garrett too at one time. So,I guess we’ll all just have to hope for White to go red hot or something, but I have no intentions of watching this garbage for another 5 years.

Forget free agency. We need all of our money to give Dak a max deal. Can't see the field, never throws to open receivers? Plays scared and can't protect the ball? Extend this man to secure our future!!!!
Jerry say's he elite , trust the process, Dak's contract should be record setting based on his elite status.

so even if we get a new HC...he doesnt get to decide the QB role???
so whats the point in making a new hire then.
just keep what you have.
