not necessarily about what he says in my opinion its about how we the fans view it. I myself prefer not to be a doom and gloomer although I have my moments. Watching football and being a fan for me anyhow is better if I just dont anticipate the next F/U.

Jerry is full of optimism I agree thats how he sells the brand. Jerry could say nothing though and Id approach it the same way. If I cant enjoy why participate?

There goes Jerry running his mouth per usual…season ticket sales must be down, so he needs to drum up interest. In Jerry’s dementia he must not have remembered that both the Eagles and Giants had good drafts and subsequently have improved as well; in fact, the division will be just as competitive, if not more this year.
Historically the Cowboys don’t perform well when there have been expectations for success; so while I don’t mind Jerry’s eternal optimism, but perhaps a tad premature in his assessment of the team…unless of course he has discovered the “secret sauce” again…

This is a case of a broken clock being right twice per day but I happen to agree with Jerry right now. He doesn't outright guarantee a title but there is certainly reason for optimism. This is probably the best defense the team has had in decades and if the offense comes together right, its going to be pretty good too.

Dallas has a shot.

Wouldn't be surprised if they lose it due to FG kicking though.

I mean he is not wrong but even in the NFC I would say there are two other teams that also have what it takes and because they did not avoid FAs have an edge in terms of talent to win this years Super Bowl and that is ignoring the loaded AFC.
