I defended jj until the end of the 2011 season. I had to stop because the more I did the dumber I looked. This is a perfect example of why I did. You just can't defend this although I'm sure some will try

Surely this man sees the need for better players on the O line? Don't tell me when the draft gets here Jerry is going to go after the flashy player and neglect areas of need. Don't tell me that. If I were to bet, Jerry is going to go after the best safety in the draft and even move up to get him, while the Oline suffers. He will address the O line in the later rounds. All we can hope for is we get a hidden gem in the later rounds....:bang2: :bang2: :bang2: :bang2: :bang2: :bang2:

That's infuriating.:yousuck:

They are wasting (or have wasted) Romo, Ware, and Witten's best years.

You watch, after Romo is finally beaten so badly he is no longer effective, then they'll get a decent line...and the next guy in line will get to enjoy it.

Jerry is totally chasing his tail on this one.

This HAS to be a smokescreen. He cannot possoibly be this dense. Or can he?

Is the full quote of what he said about the OL somewhere? This sounds out of context. (I hope)

"Jones reasons that the Cowboys can get by with lesser talent along the offensive line because of Romo's expert mobility. When forced to choose, the team will invest more resources in wide receivers and tight ends.

Even if this were true,

A) Why force your QB to be constantly running for his life when more of his awareness should be focused on who is open and throwing lanes?
B) Romo isn't 28 years old anymore. He will slow down and/or get hurt and then we're screwed.
C) The positions that are in good shape depth-wise are CB, WR and TE.
D) Aren't you forgetting the running game, O Learned Sage?

Just what the hell is wrong with JJ?

Yup. I think we almost have to go DL in the 1st now. I thought we were probably going to do that anyway though.

Good grief if Jerry actually said this and means it we are much much much worse of than I thought, and I thought the future of this franchise was pretty bleak to begin with.

Sounds like ya'll are being sucked.

Have you not watched the past 15+ years of this franchise's history?

Or are you one of the blind homers that think every year is a Superbowl year if we can just get the league to quit screwing us with a tough schedule?
