Jerruh is delusional, just like he was when he said Brandon Weeden would do well in Romo's absence.
Of course it's no debate guys, it never is with Jerruh - because he's the dictator and what he says always goes.

His first bad game of 2015, and against probably the best defense in the NFL. Throw him out!

I'm truly amazed at the "what have you done for me lately comments" made by so called fans. The guy was the highest rated QB last year. He broke his collarbone in 8 places. I cannot think of 2 QB's tougher than Romo. Total disrespect. Embarrassing.

Easy young sportsman.

A lot of fans, myself included, who have been critical of Romo in the past, got a brutal dose of reality this year.

For each time there was a gripe about him making an ill-timed pick, I know I understand he's under pressure. He is under pressure to make plays out of nothing in a simplistic offense.

As for what you replied to, I stand by it. It is not a slam on him not being weak or disrespectful in any way.

There is only so much his body can take and it is time Jones realized it.

If it is not the collarbone with a consistency of rock candy at the moment, it is his back.

He still has to be managed in terms of practices and we have seen two Thanksgiving games in a row how he performs in a short week.

Does not matter, obviously. He is more in love with the romance of Romo that the stark reality of Romo.

He already is showing he needs a ton of rest and can't even play on a short week. But, four or five more years. Yep. Not a damn debate.

Hopefully you are talking about Jerry here.

Wonder if Martin gets pissed when he hears Jerry wanted someone else. Not that it matters I just know it would make me mad

Sometimes i really wonder about JJ.

This guys ego need so much the appreciation that he lost the feeling for what he does with his comments. Did that comment by him really matter that much ? I mean, does it change something to now start the talk again about Manziel ? Get over with it poor lonely love-missing child.

I can live with his comments about what Romo has left. They are another example of how he is able to ignore reality just to sell his product to his customers. At least it has no negative effects to the teams mentality (i hope so).

So, Romo can play until he is 40, but Jerry wanted to draft Manziel in the first round last year? He was supposed to sit for 6 years or something?

He wanted Manziel for the circus potential.

He is talking out of both sides of his mouth.

Either that or he doesn't understand how rookie contracts work and Stephen needs to take him out back and shoot him.

Yeah Jerry, they asked what your thoughts were and like an rational human being, they questioned your thoughts. Sort of like going to a doctor and then asking for a second opinion. That's how our society works. It doesn't work in the 'I gave my opinion, so there's no damn debate.' That's unless you're 8 years old.

You don't have to be 8, just own the team. Jerry doesn't have to debate outside of the team.

  • In a radio interview, Cowboys owner Jerry Jones revealed that quarterback Johnny Manziel was rated among the top 5-6 players on the team’s board, as Ed Werder of ESPN.com tweets. Jones’ fondness for Manziel was well documented prior to the 2014 draft. The Browns demoted Manziel to the No. 3 spot on the QB depth chart earlier this season after more questions arose about his off-field behavior. However, with Josh McCown done for the season, Cleveland could conceivably turn to him as its starter rather than Austin Davis, who is penciled in as the No. 2 signal caller.

  • Many have assumed that Greg Hardy‘s time with the Cowboys is up since he has only 4.5 sacks and Dallas has lost seven of the eight games he’s started. That’s not quite the case,Jean-Jacques Taylor of ESPN.com writes. Hardy will be a free agent at season’s end, but the defensive end is unlikely to get the long-term deal he wants thanks to his reputation. Other teams might choose to steer clear of Hardy altogether, and Taylor theorizes that could pave the way to a reunion between Hardy and the Cowboys. Taylor cautions fans not to be shocked if the Cowboys re-sign Hardy, provided that they can get him on another deal that protects them in the event of an off-the-field issue.

Scouting dept had JFB as top 5 on the board? Really? Yikes.

So I don't really care to know his thoughts on QBs.

In fact, when Jerry speaks about QBs, you might as well just plug your ears because he offers little of value unless you give credence to his assessment of Weeden after week #2 and Romo's "sharpness" just before the Thanksgiving debacle.

Romo MIGHT have another year or two, depending on his health. No one can say for sure. That's why you draft the best QB you can and have him understudy with Romo. If Romo keeps playing at a high level, great. The new kid learns under him. If not, you've got a raw talent to put in there and learn by fire.

A guy like Romo is really once in a generation, you dont invest in some draft picks you will continue to be mediocre.there have been a lot first RD busts but they also have the most talent and least warts.the chances of a late RD QB being a good NFL starter is astronomically low and there is really no point drafting them late. The only QB draft pick recently was Mcgee and that was a disaster from the start because he never looked like a good QB in college and he was monumentally bad in the NFL.

Whether Romo plays 4 or 5 more years doesn't negate the need to go ahead and start trying to find his eventual replacement. We need someone to come in, sit on the bench, learn, and hopefully step in like Rodgers in GB.

Jerry's plan is for Tony to play 5 more years and then help him pick his successor. Championship.
