You really think Kraft isnt laying in the weeds with a score to settle? I do.
I think he definitely is. My statement was more towards JJ taking action rather than taking the backseat.

is he? or is he tolerated?

he is really selfish and has always done what is best for jerry and the cowboys and not what is best for the owners which is what the league was built on. the old owners helped each other out and made sure each team was operating well and had money.

Jerry came in and from day one said its mine, all this is mine and really didnt give a damn about the rest of the league.
Jerry doing what is best for Jerry has made all of the other owners Huge $$, these Billion $$ franchises did not just occur without Jerry pushing the pedal to the metal. I think most owners recognize this whether they like it or not. Pretty much the reason why Jerry got his Gold jacket this summer...He changed the whole damn National Football League for the better with his continuous Push the Envelope mentality.

Polian or whoever the new commissioner is will be the face of one of the worse work stoppages in sports history. That venom ain't going away when the buffoon is gone.

Maybe not but its a strong starting point.

This would be far more credible if Jerry had said a peep during Deflategate.

It's kind of silly to start crying only when the Gestapo knocks on your door and not your neighbors, now he just looks like he's doing it because it's personal rather than because he feels Goodell is really bad for the league.

Thats not really fair, things have changed since then. The league hasnt handled the anthem well. Wether its streaming or not, ratings have dropped. The Zeke case was blatently biased. Im not as familiar with Brady but I dont recall the league bending the truth like they have with Zeke. Its really just an accumulation of bad management.

Honestly...Should people really be shocked Goodell made a mess of this league? He's a lawyer...What lawyer hasn't made a mess of anything they have touched that involved money?

Rozell was commisioner when payrolls were 7 digits not 9. Not saying he wouldnt do better but he would face a lot of the same problems.
if Rozelle didn't want to play the part of the judicial system, he wouldn't have to deal with his own production of problems as Goodell and the disciplinary committee is doing. This is a self imposed problem of the powers playing hypocritical god mentality. Makes me want to spit nails. This so called public image is crap, and the so called public opinion is the medias version, not the publics opinion

As long as the league lets the media control the agenda, things will only get worse. I tune in to football to watch football, not judicial proceedings, social injustices fought from all sides, bad mouthing of ppls characters, twerking on the field. Reporters dominating the cameras, kissing of owners behinds, players acting like a thug after a good play, or owners compromising the right position of defending team to keep the nfl group of billionaires all on the same page so as not to upset the money cart. Jerry needs to call out the disciplinary committees unconstitutional stand 9n discipline to support right, first, and the interests of his team secondly. Corruption of power is destroying tj8s league one step at a time. What do all crimes have in common usually? Money, power, relationships/sex.

With the most recent news that TV ratings continue to lag and at least one of the league’s biggest sponsors, Papa John’s Pizza, has begun to complain publicly – all of which clearly is not solely Goodell’s fault any more than it is his 32 bosses – it has become easy for Jones to at least get fellow owners’ ears and recruit them to his way of thinking.

One of the league's biggest sponsors?
