Then maybe one season's results don't directly affect next season's after all?
This year we were exposed as flukes it's different.

it really isn't.
Yeah, that changes do not need to be gargantuan.
Better QB play, be it through Romo or someone else.
Better secondary play.
A turnover differential that isn't in negative numbers.
And you're looking at a playoff team in the NFC East.
Romo will never plays more than 10 games in a season again.
So if Romo stays healthy, we should make the playoffs? Okay well then why are you disappointed Jerry doesn't think we need a complete overhaul if you think we have a hope next season.
Watch us go 8-8 next year and have jerry and Garrett and CZ homers tell us there is progress and Garrett deserves another year
They should have in that weak division.
If Cam Newton went down week 2, the Carolina Panthers would be picking in the top 10 with us. That is an offense with below average receivers, an average running game that is built around a QB's abilities and that QB is having a tremendous season. The defense is very good but Cam Newton's tremendous season is what makes them elite and helps them win all the close games they have had this year.
If we had been having Patriots like success over the last 5-6 years - I can understand such confidence in the organization.
We've been 6-10, 8-8, 8-8, 8-8, 12-4 and now about to be 4-12. 1 winning season in 6 years - in a league of parity, with a franchise QB.
None of that is a ringing endorsement for the 'new management' or for that goofy ginger 'coach' you so adamantly defend.
The problem with this argument is that a rival in-state team just signed the QB we couldn't win with and is fixing to win a division title.
When asked why other teams can win with backups, including our backups, but we cant...............Jerry said he had no explanation for it.
That is what I don't get...............the results are not there, but folks claim that coaching is no issue here.
1 playoff season in 6 years and Garrett was head coach for 5.5 of those 6 years............at what point does Garrett actually have to produce results?
I would seriously like to know this from his supporters, when do actual results start to matter or is this a situation of being a fan of Garrett and wanting him to say head coach regardless of the results?
I think he is referring to the fact that we don't have the coaches or the depth of talent to sustain an injury to Romo. The Pats can lose Brady in the season opener and go 11-5 with Cassel because of outstanding coaching and surrounding talent. If we lose Romo, we are unable to score a single TD in most games.
So I guess the plan is to just hold our breath every time Romo gets sacked and pray he gets up. What happens if he doesn't?
Cool story
He doesn't have me convinced of anything. I see the warts and problems with the team and his mistakes as a GM just like you real fans. But again, I don't see anything he said in that article that was wrong or delusional. Just seems like the real fans are just repeating the same ole tired comments they always say
when Jerry speaks.
More like jonesopia!Wow!! This organization suffers from myopia
