That doesn’t mean it’s the sole measurement of greatness. Obviously not every great athlete is inducted.

But if we all can’t agree the NFL benchmark for recognizing the best of the best of their eras are in the HOF then what basis or barometer can we establish?

The fact Jimmy voluntarily left instead of technically being fired is simply a “Jerry defending “ talking point.

It’s been well established why Jimmy left when he did and the reasons that led to it.
