Jerry Loves Cowher?

I actually met Cowher at a real charity event here in New York the year he retired and he was a nice guy. He let me wear his Super Bowl ring which was a beautiful piece of jewelry. I was in shock at how buff Cowher was. I know he's a former player but I wasn't expecting him to be as muscular. I told him we would love to have him as our HC. He just grinned a huge grin and said "hey you never know, we'll see, we'll see." But the body language and smile was not good. It was one of those, I hate the Cowboys/I'll never work for Jerry Jones looks. But he was still very polite.

I tend to agree. I could never see Jones and Cowher getting along.

Parcells said the same thing in a book though to be fair.

I think there is zero percent cowher would even give jerry an interview let alone accept the job however.

His personality and background does not fit in with the Dallas attitude, particularly the jones family's attitude.

Cowher came up with marty schottenheimer. Very blue collar, fundamentally sound disciplined football. In order to play that way the whole setup has to be with one functioning voice. One leader. Jerry is never going to go on his radio show and just repeat what the head coach says the day before like he did early on with parcells.

Its a personality clash I dont think would ever even come close to working.

Gee I never put that 2 and 2 together and got my 4 until recently and I started reading all these stories about how he likes his liquor. I guess I just never paid attention.

Maybe we can stage an intervention and have him packed off to Betty Ford or Promises around draft time....that could only be good for Cowboys Nation.

We need to do something about Jerry. He was drinking when him and Jimmy ended their relationship. You think he would have learned from that, but he didn't.

But seriously, my cat and I went on vacation and we bumped into a friend of my cat who is best friends with my cat cousin, who's very close to my cat sister and my cat sister is married to this mixed cat, but the mixed cat is best friends with Jerry Jones wifes cat, Fefe....

To make a long story short, it got back to my cat that JJ was playing darts one day with potential coaches as targets and it landed on Gruden, therefore since my cat can type (yeah very smart cat) he told me. So their you have it Gruden is the next coach of the Cowboys....

A gentleman that works out at my gym and I were having a discussion about our favorite teams last night.This guy is a prominent business owner in the Pittsburgh area.He told me that over the summer He and his wife were invited to a dinner in DFW area that Jerry had for some children's charity.This guy's wife is a big wig within the charity i guess.Anyway,Jerry told my friend in conversation that he loves him some Cowher and winked.He also said Jerry was pretty loaded,lol.They were discussing coaches and future jobs.And out spurted Jerry saying this.Take it for what it is.It is heresay but this guy has no reason to lie.
