Well, I thought he was on TV last year and said something that implied he would never work for Jerry Jones.

I tend to agree. I could never see Jones and Cowher getting along.

Word is that there were some things said either immediately before or immediately after the 95 Super Bowl that pretty much sealed the deal with Cowher. It ain't happening.

Nor do I want a head coach who couldn't win the big one without the help of the worst officiated Super Bowl in NFL history.

Cuz it worked out so well last time we retreaded a rivals former coach.

Was on, but now moving off the Cowher bandwagon. He's too old, done his time and I honestly don't feel he has anything left to prove. And in the end, probably wouldn't mesh the greatest with Jerry.

Give me Gruden. Youth, Fire, Fresh Ideas. The world to prove.

And now, a moment from our hallowed history:

Jerra was also drinking when he took Jimma out to eat Mexican food where the Dallas Moring News photographer snapped their pichure. "Hey, we don't need this!" Jimma exclaimed. "It's OK it's a done deal," said a smiling Jerra.

When I saw the pichure of the owner of the Dallas Cowboys having dinner (at Landry's favorite Mexican place) with the finest football coach in the land, my football heart went pitter-patter.

You must not live in Dallas, Landry's is a seafood restaurant.

The picture was taken at Mia's:

Now this is something that Jerry should be forever praised for. I wish that was good enough for his ego

As long as Jerry's pulling the strings, it's not going to matter who the next coach is any more than it mattered who the last five coaches were. The beat goes on.

Being the titular head coach of the Dallas Cowboys is like wearing a parka while swimming, you thrash around a lot but don't get very far and it's very frustrating.
