He just traded TWO STARTERS for Miami on week 1 for a 4th round pick ..... and you say he aint stupid enough ...... you want to rethink that .....

Fasano was not a starter and was never going to be. That's why he was a stupid pick in the first place.

What are the chances he might trade up to pick up Dorsey instead?
None. Dorsey doesn't fit a 3-4 as well as he does a 4-3.

A strong possibility with talks of Ratliff going back to DE, and Hatcher being moved up.

I wouldn't mind it, only if one first rounder was involved.

We got rid of a player that would probably have been released this year and the number two TE who is not much better than Curtis and you guys are moaning. It is the top of the fourth. It's a top 100 pick. We didn't give up much in a SB run. Akin=0 and Fasano worth the pick. Also remember this is a very deep draft. A pick around 100 in this draft is not much different than picks 45-60 in some drafts.

Dorsey is a top five pick. We are not trading up for a DL in the top five of a draft with our ammo.

Don't understand why anybody bellyaching. Ayodele was losing his job to the 35 year old Zack Thomas who could play circles around him. Fasano was #2 backup TE & not the guy I wanted to play if Witten went down. Ayodele would have been cut nlt TC; Fasano would have continued as our #2 for 1-2 more years and then allowed to leave in FA. Frankly, we won't miss either.

the fasano miami deal seams a lil lop-sided at first. but have you ever considered the $ we will save.

we could use that extra cap space to possibly pull off a trade for a WR

that 4th rd pick is more good trade bait!

some might think it is a prelude to get mcfadden by i think jerry might be getting ready to get that WR situation fixed. we all know jerry has a man crush on mcfadden but he aint stupid enough to risk the future to get him.

none the less, it will be a crazy day tommarow with a few surprises im guessing.

i do NOT think jones has a mancrush on mcfadden.

i think FANS WANT jones to have it so they can have something to talk about that's not there.

we'll know tomorrow. um...today. it's midnight and draft day!

BBQ TO COOK!!!!

No question Akin was a big problem on pass downs last year. I am really looking forward to Curtis playing a lot more. I have very high hopes for him and he has some great mojo with Tony.

Looks like the stage is set for a potential trade for DMac...most of will keep saying this till it doesn't happen. I can't wait for the draft!

why do you feel it would be better?

RW's a proven veteran that would help out Romo and TO. Eventually, he'll be able to replace TO. I'd love to have McFadden on the team, don't get me wrong. He's a very dynamic running back and I don't know what all that dead leg business was about. Proven vs. unproven...I'd go with proven if we're serious about this super bowl run.

i hear ya. i just think we need a starting rb cause i don't trust barber to not get hurt carrying the load. I also think Romo isn't all he's cracked up to be and a solid running game with better defensive play would help more than a 90s vikings type offense.

you're thinking whatever it takes to justify mcfadden.

dangerous thinking to me. the kind we've yelled at jones for in the past.

we'll see tomorrow. got my avatar ready if your boy becomes a cowboy?

no i'm not. I wouldn't mind mendenhall either but i would prefer dmac. we've yelled at jones in the past for it yet we've also had great success with it. no i don't have an avatar ready for you. remind me if we draft him.
