I hate this guy. Why did they build him that damn stadium? All his ownership has done is make the team a laughingstock.

Best part?

They have blinds already on many of the windows. He just refuses to have them closed in late afternoon games.
I know he does.

You think Taylor Swift is performing at AT&T with the sun glaring through that window and hitting her in the face? How about Jake Paul vs Tyson? I imagine there's an undercard? Will those fighters be dodging punches and the sun?

What Jerry fails to understand is there is no advantage to be had with letting the sun in from the side.

It really doesn't matter if they know the location of the sun for every game in advance or not.

The problem is that you cannot control the situations that may arise regardless of which side of the field you are on or even which direction the players are facing at the snap because players end up having look both directions on every single play.

I have never understood the logic behind Jerry's obsession with keeping the curtains open because it does not matter which side you are facing, it can hurt BOTH teams on every play.

For example, on offense, if the other team's defense is facing the sun, then that means any receivers looking back to catch balls will be fighting it. If the Cowboys offense is facing the sun then the quarterback is more likely to not see defenders, especially if their jerseys are any shade of red, brown or orange.

On defense, if the sun is in the Cowboys defender's eyes, they cannot react quickly on running plays or passes because they will have to take an extra moment to confirm what they think they see.

It's a stupid decision driven by Jerry's flawed logic of thinking it is somehow an advantage.
He obviously believes it’s an advantage. He thinks he’s pulled off a home field advantage like Tex did at Texas Stadium placing opposing teams in Sun. He just won’t accept it also creates a potential hindrance for us as well.

Lol. This guy is so full of himself. He's the only owner in all of sports that has a home field disadvantage. Sun gets it in players eyes?.... oh well, deal with it.... More opposing fans in the stadium than cowboy fans? He says there isn't any indifference within the Fandom. My only satisfaction that comes from this is that he won't ever win his way and will have to live with it.

Who cares....what about stadiums with no dome? Easy fix to close them, yeah...big deal, I don't think so. I would like to know why he keeps them open...circulation, safety...

Proves yet again that he doesn't REALLY care about winning more than anything else.

His ego is and has been all that matters.

Jerry is so stubbornly mule- headed and set in his own ways ...

why da hell did you even build and install curtains if you're not gonna use them ...??

That's HIM alone insisting on NOT using them (the curtains) .... you can even tell so becuz of how irritated he is whenever asked about the curtains vs the sun ..

Mule- Headed ...!!
The curtains are probably used for other events. Someone told him that it would be hard to have the sun ruin concerts and other things so he put them in.

Someone then asked about the sun interfering with games and he fired them.

Just tint the flipping windows and put an end to this nonsense. Doesn't even have to be dark tint.
That would cost money......Do you honestly think this cheap *** owner would want to fork out that money for his mistake?

A frustrated Jerry Jones had some comments about the sun impacting play at AT&T Stadium: “By the way, we know where the sun is going to be when we decide to flip the coin or not. We do know where the damn sun is going to be in our own stadium.”

Why not put up curtains over the windows?

Jerry: “Well let’s tear the damn stadium down and build another one? Are you kidding me?

“Everybody has got the same thing. Every team that comes in here has the same issues.

“I’m saying, the world knows where the sun is. You get to know that almost a year in advance. Someone asked me about the sun. What about the sun? Where’s the moon?”

This kind of empty buffoonery seems to get rewarded.
