He’s not about to risk his body trying out for a USFL or CFL team. He has no interest playing there. He’s looking for a big money deal. Lol If he was smart and healthy he would’ve worked out for the Cowboys when they brought him in. Jerry was seriously interested in signing him.

That would work too lol. I'm just saying, if he wants to play, he may be forced into that option or retiring.

He’s got options in the NFL if he’s healthy and willing to workout. He’s not about to play in a scrub league for peanuts. I doubt even a bozo league would sign a player coming off an ACL who isn’t willing to workout and prove they’re healthy.

A healthy OBJ in the free agency market will not sign for less to play with Dallas. And Stephen Jones argues the prices at the Wall of Marts. So that settles it.

...Hilton hungry for championship. That will tell us something.

Might be his last shot.

If anyone who has truly paid attention to the way Hilton has played the last few years, they would realize very quickly what a waste of time and money this signing is.

Whose call do you think it was?

under what context though? If anyone expect the old (figuratively) Hilton then yes you’ll be disappointed. If you view as a depth move for a 3rd/4th receiver to come in provide depth and play inside and outside I think he can still have some moments here as a depth piece

This doesn't have anything to do with the reason Cooper isn't a Cowboy any more.

Scrambling in week 15 trying to find a receiver when you had one on your roster that is at least as good as your new #1.

Seems like Jerry is admitting that the team was better with Lamb AND Cooper.

It seems like they are doing everything they can to make the team better which is what they should do.

I kinda believe that it happened. The parting of ways has always seemed personal versus economical. Coop probably did take shots at Prescott in the locker room.

You know, I agree with this. But isn't the locker room exactly where this should have happened, and not in the media.

I liked Amari, and I find it kind of funny that he was criticized for not having the fire that some other receivers have, but when we have the loud / high energy / boisterous receiver, all they get is crap for being selfish.

Amari, when healthy, was a definite asset to this team.

WR depth was never promising to begin with. None of the young guys have stepped up and they definitely had chances with Washington and Gallup out.

Proud of Noah Brown though. I feel like he has made the most of the opportunities. I don’t care how many former Pro Bowl receivers you go after though, this team won’t Go all the way airing it out.

OBJ is looking more like a possible 2023 signing b/c it appears there is no way he's ready to play this season.

Ugh. I've got no interest in signing OBJ to a multiyear contract. I'd rather extend Hilton.

We had a pricey WR *w/o* the surgeries. Would have much rather kept Cooper than sign OBJ.

Don't know if you count Brown as a young guy, but he has the highest YPT of the team. 9+ yards. *And* he's still a great blocker. He totally stepped up.
