Jerry on how Eagles construct their roster vs how the Cowboys do

Great stuff there. Hope people take the time to read it.

I see it simply….on the field, certain players are flat out better than others. There are guys who are headed to the HOF and those who get cut after camp.

Same with front offices. Some are much more capable than others.

Unfortunately we are stuck since the two clowns happen to own the team, and think they are doing a great job, and that their philosophy is a proven winner.

Losing is one thing. That’s fine. Man up and take it, but the maddening part is instead of considering change, it’s excuse after excuse….when the reality is they flat out aren’t good at building a winning roster.

Even when they get close they cheap out and are left short in the field.

The Eagles had to make alot of roster moves in off season of 2022-2023 when they very aggressive in moves the previous year. What did they do? Drafted well, still added some guys and then even changed the scheme this past year. They are 38-12 in the last three years - in which Stephen talks about the their cap challenges. They still were aggressive and made good football moves and even changed schemes. Stephen really likes to double down on what others can and cant do and down play what we can do bc he wont do it.

Diggs, bland, bell, Jordan Lewis, overshown,. We’re better than the Eagles if we could stay healthy.

And we won 12 games the last three seasons. This season was an injury disaster. They’re not any better than us then maybe coaching

Teams usually build their roster, especially in defense try and stop with the others are doing on offense. I have no problem believing.

I don’t think Jerry is scared, wrong word, I do think it’s about loyalty with him and that’s why the players like him, but that’s not what wins

How about forget the Eagles and Jerry just look at the Chiefs and Rams. The Eagles Super Bowl win was years ago. Look at how the Chiefs and Rams organizations are set up. Look at how their respective owners behave and conduct business. Look at how they have GMs not related to the owner. Look at the responsibilities of those GMs. Those would be franchises to emulate. Jerry needs to start by shutting up and having his franchise be more like successful ones in the contemporary NFL.

But my point still remains the same, Stephen cant speak on ramifications of the cap in reference to Philly Aggressiveness vs ours bc Philly was in the a worse situation and still was able to make moves. We are sitting on money that we can use to make moves and improve this team as well. So, he cant use their situation to justify why we dont spend money. Difference is Philly spends money to be better and we just claim broke so we dont spend money. And yes coaching is definitely better, so is their WR depth, OL, DL as well.
