Jerry jones is reason number 1 for 2 decades of cowboys mediocrity. I'm getting to the point where I might stop watching. If the GM doesn't care about winning, why even waste my time tuning in? To watch the team I represent look like clowns and to hear fans of other teams gloat and rejoice?
I think I am about there as well.

Curious if I will even watch Thursday

I’m not expecting Jerruh (or any owner) to blast his staff just yet. Not while their in the heart of the season and still alive in the playoff hunt.

Well what do you expect him to say? The season isn't over as much as some fans think that it is, and I can guarantee the players don't think it's over. You don't throw your coaching staff under the bus with a 5-5 record and 6 games till to play unless you really want to lose the team.
My God ! common sense spoken here on the zoners.

I agree hawk.

If we fall apart, losing 4-5 of the next six games, I'm pretty sure we'll see some changes within the coaching staff, maybe even one of the coor. But notice the only talk about firing Jason is fans/media in the circles of Cowboy nation. I have no doubt when Jerry's ready to make a coaching change, we'll know.......w/o having to guess.

Did Jerry famously say Brandon Weeden was the most talented passer or “thrower of the ball” he’d ever witnessed?

Correction...................we went 0-1...............its called the playoffs and its how coaches are judged.

I don't think you would find any serious person that put the last two playoff losses on Garrett. In 2014 we won a game and then lost to more talented GB team in the Dez Catch game. That was a year where this board said was the "worst defense of the last 30 years".

But I am sure you can blame Garrett for rush hour traffic and get 400 people on this board to agree with you.

And he was right. Weeden was fantastic as the thrown ball, he sucked at decision making. Two different issues.

I’m pretty sure Jerry only demoted Jason Garrett anyways because of Romo telling him too, when he signed the contract.. he was probably the only one that could have forced a change in such a way..
Your pretty sure that Romo told Jones to demote Jason Garrett during contract negotiations?
Where did you get this info?
Or is it a hunch?

We are 5-5. Look at our record over the last 5 years. You will see many 8-8 or worse seasons.
Losing it what tears a locker room apart. I don't know how comfortable people should feel losing. Injury/ suspension or not going from Superbowl favorite to 5-5 should make everyone uncomfortable.
I am not denying that. my response was to the specifics of what jerry would/should say. his position should be to support his coaches (regardless of what he thinks). you don't start something on public television. you have to manage that in house.

A head coach is not responsible for losing playoff games? Even though the team was unprepared to start the Green Bay game last year and got blasted 21-0 before they knocked the rust off from not playing for two weeks and then started playing well? But no, the head coach is held totally blameless according to you.

Dude, get off Garrett's nuts...................you are embarrassing yourself at this point.

Funny how I only get personal attacks from the potbangers. Enjoy your tantrum in the Ignoratorum.

I explained it in another post.

Romo wasn’t allowed in game planning until Jerry gave him the new contract. Jerry forced it from on top.

Garrett said it made sense that the QB like the plays that were being called in.

Of course Garrett had to spin it like that, but nobody prevented him from Putting Romo in game planning anyways.
