I welcome that. I just hate to waste another season. And I don’t really think Jerry wants to look a fool with Dak. I think he saw enough last year.
Don't get me wrong, I definitely see your point, and I think you are right about Jerry.
I would hate to set the team back for five years if Dak is not the guy. And I say this as a guy that likes Dak and *thinks* he can be more than he's been his first three years. But I'm no expert.
I gotta see it to believe it, you know what I mean?

why? he is an asset and we should get the most for him in a trade.

Trade him then...get whatever you can for him. If I'm Philly, Seattle, KC or most NFC squads, I'm all over it!

Talent wins games, not positions Jerry.

I’ve already seen enough. And hate to waste another season.

Yea, we now have a great OC. We haven’t seen a down called in regular season already anointing him greater than Linehan. Lol

actually i see him making adjustments in the game and adapting the game plan for the different qb.
i hope it continues.
and the front office needs to punish idiots like zeke.
or things can get out of hand with other negotiations.
i would withdraw the offer now, and get another rb.

i would not wish for zeke to tear his acl when he crawls back, but i would laugh my butt off he receives poetic justice and loses his big $ opportunity.

Let’s see.. we don’t have a great GM, HC or QB but we’re ready to give up more talent .

NFL is a talent driven league. If we had any of those other 3 we might could get by without a great RB.

trade him if we get good assets.
dont just trade him for the heck of trading him.
there is something to gain to make an example of him because players need to see what can happen if they push too far.

not if it sets back the salary cap plan
not if all the other players see squeaky wheel gets the grease.
Please explain our Salary Cap plan. And only the most talented get the grease.

Tell us how you’d give up a Super Bowl this year for the hopes of more years down the road. Lol

I will never side with ownership on these matters. And unless Jerry and Stephen's QB can carry the load...pay #21.

If not, trade him for picks that can get a QB like Mahomes.

they have put together a pot of cap $ for a number of players.
there is a timing component to it.
there is a budget.
and you got it wrong, it is not the most talent get the grease.
it is the ones who can impact wins and loses the most that get the grease.
rbs have limited impact there so even jerry is finally saying the right thing that zeke is not the solution for the last 3 years.
they are far too mentally weak to offer zeke an extension so early.
i hope they rescind the offer.
they basically have zeke's remaining prime years of ~3 years under contract and 1 franchise tag.
they should fully leverage that to lower his cap impact.
stop this charity crap.

My agenda was the same when they paid a G and C top dollar. You pay talent. Never a position. Period.

MLB and FS aren't supposed to get paid top dollar, but if you have Ray Lewis and Ed Reed...you pay the talent. Just my position Waldo.

Yes, and now is the time to pay them. None more important than Dak and Zeke. And kinda tough to keep Dak without Zeke.

And the most talented ones are the ones who impact the most.

Did anyone hear Emmitt and Michael during the broadcast last night?

the advanced stats should a 2nd tier rb can get most of the benefits that a 1st tier rb will.
so it is far better to have a great wr1 and a 2nd tier rb than a wr2 and a 1st tier rb.
it is far easier to keep dak without zeke with more $.
give me a choice between cooper and zeke, i will take cooper any day.
after this season, i may take gallup over zeke if gallup takes a step.

We’ve already tried the RB by Committee. An epic fail which is why we drafted Elliott. Lol

If we paid Dak based on his talent level we could afford Zeke and Cooper.

you pay when you have to.
not 2 year early.
in 2-3 years, zeke's prime is probably done.
why waste valuable cap dollars.
we got him locked up in contract for 2 years and can franchise him for another year if needed.

he can sit out the 1st ten games of each year.
it will just save us 2/3 of his salary
and we get to use him for the important part of the season - the playoffs.

we drafted pollard this year.
draft another rb in the 3rd or 4th next year and pair him up with pollard.
then have zeke come in after game 10 each year.
