Trust me, the TOP element isn't lost on me.
I don't think we totally lose that without Elliott, since the OL *should* be really good, and Pollard *looks* to be a viable runner and Morris isprobably at least average. Certainly not a given, since there is an element of projection before the season actually starts.
I have concerns about Dak, too, and I'm not sold yet, though fairly optimistic.
Where we disagree is that I do want to see him without Elliott. Because if he can't hack it without Zeke, given the fact that the offense STILL has above average talent without Elliott, then committing long term to Dak would prove to be a historical mistake.
