I know. It sucks lol. I feel bad for Zeke. Guy is going to spend the season getting hammered in the backfield.
He got his money like he wanted. All of his dreams came true.

I don't think losing hurts our guys enough.

I feel much worse for us fans that we don't have a better organization that cared about winning enough to create a culture around it.

I agree sir. I have been saying this for years.

The final straw for me was the family trip in the first week of FA a few years back.

It was then I knew winning was second and Jerry was first.

The reason our players dont care about losing, is because our owner and GM dont either. You know what rolls down hill right?

What part of "we like our guys" do you all not understand?

This season was a lost cause with a healthy Smith because we just don't have a very good roster.

I must say, I'm not shocked to see some of the more vocal members of this forum throwing in the towel at the first sign of adversity though. Talked their crap all offseason and then quit as soon as an injury happens.

cant argue with this. However, the roster isn’t missing many pieces. If there was a competent front office in place , this team could compete this season. Especially in a weak nfc.

His two in-house options are the guy who couldn’t beat out Connor McGovern and the guy who’s been getting beat like a drum in preseason. Jerry needs to be honest and say, “Guys, I just don’t care anymore. I like being around football. Winning is too much trouble now.”

I posted months ago that the Joneses are tired of spending big money on players and not see it pay dividends. They made up their minds after moving on from several key players that they’re going to go with what they have this season even if it leads to a disaster. Jerry knew heading into last season that was going to be the best shot the Cowboys had at a Super Bowl. I won’t go as far as to say he’s thrown in the towel for this season but it’s pretty close.

Its not Odd. He is banking on Mike failing. And decimating our draft capital for Payton.

I'm not the conspiracy theory type but this certainly makes you wonder. How much you wanna bet a red penny MM and coaches are privately begging for outside help. Their butts are on the line......

BTW.....all the posters/fans who want Joe Philbin's head here is a classic example it's not always their fault entirely. They do the best with what they have.

If that’s the case then I’m hoping it’s moving Zack to LT. No other option from “within” gives us a chance to win.

It amazes me that this surprises any fans. JJ has his way of doing things and it must equal two thresholds.

1. Dallas must be highly profitable.
2. JJ and Dallas are in the spotlight.

Everything is made through these two lenses. This was my expectation on how they would handle the LT problem. . One day Dallas will get lucky and win the SB. Jerry will be watching from the great beyond and be screaming I did it...

"If they were any good they wouldn't be available" is the sound coming out of Jerry's spincter.
