That is the part that blows my mind. With a healthy team and decent weapons, Rush is a fine backup.

I don't get the need to trade a 4th for a guy who won't be around for the long run if he does show flashes when you are planning to sign Dak to a big deal.

He did it because of the attention it would bring to daks contract extension.

He somehow thought it would give them leverage or simply make the news headlines.

The bad thing is, Jerry probably didn't care care either way. As long is it got them more attention

That’s not true. The Dakazoids thought the Cowboys win against the “vaunted” Browns, after Dak got his contract, was proof this season was going to be special. Even those that were blaming Jerry in the off-season were saying struggle would happen if Lamb wasn’t signed.

I mean this forum was posting articles about Dak and Lamb being better than Montana and Rice

I believe about 75% were .500 or slightly better in the Zone prediction poll. It’s just the homers are more vocal. Everyone knew the team would be hard pressed to repeat 12-5.

diggs doesn't like to tackle. that was painfully obvious two years ago, in SF, when he had a chance to stop the niners and force them to punt, instead he ducked and missed a tackle on Kittle because he hates contact. Since then I just don't like diggs. never wanted us to resign him. this is football, NFL football. not flag football. if you don't like contact and don't want to tackle, then just go to another team.

Jerry is a buy here pay here used car salesman. But there are times IMO where he goes out of character and says his true thoughts outside of being Baghdad Bob "everything is fine" quotes.

Jones is the nucleus to the issues. As long as there's a camera in his face or the local journalists let him call in, he's simply talking BS. I love 105.3 - The Fan, but when Jerry or Stephen call in to gaslight the hell out the fans and repeating the same BS talking points, I turn it off.
That's how bad it's gotten. They refuse to bring in talented players, but instead keep useless players.
