Yeah. Tampa and Philly will either bring them back to earth or justify those feelings. I lean toward bring them back to earth, although I don't think the Joneses are always on the same planet as the rest of us, so who knows what they'll do.
Washington may have a little something, something for them too after the Cowboys were able to beat them previously this season

Probably. They may be fighting for their playoff life in that final game.

Lol, it's usually us resting our starters before the playoffs.....guess you could say we're playing with house money for the rest of the year. No pressure

Assuming McCarthy does get extended how many years you’ve given the 60-year-old?
How ever long it is, you can be sure he will be here for every one of them.

He is probably the he only guy that’ll accept under four years minimum, so it better be only 2-3.

None of it matters if the front office refuses to find the money to fix the roster. One draft loaded with 5th round comps isn’t going to make an immediate impact, but I’d bet anything they think otherwise.

That means they go 1-8 at home with the only win against the team with the first or second pick in the draft. They ain’t beating Tampa.

That’s beyond pathetic.

That would be the thing. If the Commanders are in position to rest their starters, then Quinn might give McCarthy a mulligan to help him keep his job. I'm sure there are scenarios where Washington will have nothing to play for that final week because it can't change its playoff position.

Before making proclamations about coaching jobs, he needs to see how the season turns out.

This seems to seal Zimm's return as DC at least.......

As stated before.......one or both will return. Jerry has never hired a new head coach, offensive coordinator and defensive coordinator from outside the organization with one sweep.

27-0 VS GB in 2nd qtr.
We were so not ready to start that playoff game.
Should have been fired at halftime.

I'd actually like to see Zimm keep building on his work here.

But I also want the next HC to pick his own staff without interference from Jerry. Like you say though, it's just not going to happen that way.
