Jerry should take a lesson from Sean Payton and let Dak go now

The point is to get Dak out of a Cowboys uniform and let the franchise have a chance to recover.
Then the Cowboys should release him now. Move ahead with Lance, lose 12 or 13 games, miss the playoffs, convince CeeDee he’s stuck having to play for a team a long way from playoff success, leave a carcass of an NFL team that no head coach candidate with a choice would select, and give the CZ community and Micah legitimately miserable issues to whine about.

Wilson sure looked a lot more cooked than Prescott did.

I don’t care which way they ultimately go but I’d rather take my chances with another season of Prescott than allow Jerry and Stephen to stick another 26 million in their pockets…it won’t be spent on improving the roster this season. That ship has long sailed.

Speaking of Wilson, I wonder if cheapo Stephen isn’t looking at the current Steeler QB model and grinning.
Steelers got Wilson on a great deal with Denver paying all but a fraction of the cost.
Great job by the Steelers, Denver paid the reaper.

Jerry should have came down from the luxury box 27 minutes into the Packer playoff game and escorted Daks arse straight to his vehicle and let him go then! I mean how many times can you look at your QB on the bench watching the jumbo screen shaking his head after 2 pick sixes to single handedly take you outta the game!

Instead, Jerry paid him $5 million in March to keep him on the roster and even though Jerry could release him and pay him no more money, Dak’s getting ready to quarterback another season of Cowboys football.

Bench what is for all intents and purposes your star player to spite him and to ruin his chances of signing elsewhere. Good luck signing any free agents going forward.

I don't agree with what Sean Payton did to Russell Wilson, and I hope it costs him his job.
However, the fact that he did it shows that NFL teams can afford to eat a bad contract and move past one player. In the Cowboys case, they should bench Prescott for the season and make him sit for a year before entering free agency. The fact that it would cool the market for his services might make Dak amenable to a trade this year that will allow the Cowboys to get something out of the deal.
Either way, the Cowboys and their fans win simply by getting Dak off the field in a Cowboys uniform and that gives the franchise hope for the first time since the hiring of Jason Garrett.
Yeah....the Dallas Cowboys is run like your Parents House...."Go to your room":lmao::lmao:

A bonafide, never gonna win anything, loser will be out of the locker room.

That's a win.
Jerry shelled out $5 million in March to Dak when he could have released Dak and no longer owed him a dime. Either Jerry is just generous, spends foolishly, or intends for Dak to play for the Cowboys this season.

I'm sorry OP, and I mean no disrespect but this is stupid. Like really stupid.

1. By sitting a top 10 QB, you're not teaching him a lesson, you're keeping him fresh for the next team.

2. By sitting him, you let every other team know that he's not coming back next year, meaning a team who was interested in paying Dak what he wants, can just wait and not offer any draft capital to get him

3. If we really think Lance is the answer, The time to trade Dak was before the draft. Since We didnt do that, that tells me the cowboys are unsure themselves and Dak knows that. They have no leverage over him, so if we aren't going to extend him, our only option is to play him and hope for the best.

You will never get a “like” from KJJ. He never doles one out.
I find it funny that some of you are bothered that I don’t pass out likes. lol No one got more upset with me about it than Trouty who only came here to troll for likes. He used to jump on me all the time for not passing out likes. Once the schemes him and a few other posters were using to get likes were figured out and stopped he and his buddies took off.

It will not be done!!
