Ok first I know we cant force trade Dak, but if he wanted to be traded, it could be done.

The solution is to bring in Rodgers or Wilson, and tell Dak your now the Bkup dude
If he wants to sit on bench for most of season he can collect his check. But I think Dak would want to be
traded, so he would then pick a team and they could get a trade done , if that team wanted him.

I may be wrong but if he was traded, he could redo his deal/ contract to make it happen.

Now I hear that jerry likes attention, keep the team in the news, keep team relevant !
I hear this almost daily here.
What would make dallas the most relevant and talked about team?
Well getting Rodgers #1 or Wilson # 2 ! If he got Rodgers, jerry would have 100's of media wanting to talk to him, internet would explode !

And Rodgers is I think undefeated in ATT, and said he loves playing there. He is older now
and would probably love playing in a comfy dome for 8-9 games, and only a few outdoor games.

He would have some good WR , good RB, and if jerry let him be the oc/play caller/qb , the offense would
probably be awesome.

Jerry wants a SB, or at least champ game, and which scenario has best chance to succeed?
Dak/kellen
Rodgers/Rodgers

I think a guy like Rodgers should be calling his own plays anyway, he is smart enough, and has many years
of experience, he doesnt need anyone to call his plays.

If jerry got rodgers, and let him call his own plays, I think even I would be drinking that kool aide lol.
Or just get him, and even with boy genius calling plays, it would be so much different.

Wilson is a step down, but can still run it, and it would be interesting too. I also think Russell is smart enough
to call his own plays.

I know I am dreaming, but it is off season, and it is a exciting day dream lol.

As far as the money, Rodgers would probably bend on that if he wanted to come here, and thats
why letting him run the offense and call his own plays might get him to come here cheap, on a 2 year deal.

it’s not about championships. it’s about making money. these are the top selling jerseys in nfl. you see who’s in top 3. he’s not going to be benched. Jerry needs that cash cow out there to sell jerseys. no wilson no rogers no anyone.

So how do you propose we get this done? Are you going to convince Dak to forgo his no trade clause, and if so, how do you propose convincing him? What do we do about Mike McCarthy as well, since it's well known Rodgers hates him? And also, how do you convince Jerry to do this since we're just a bunch of insignificant fans on a message board? I also want Dak replaced, but in this real world, he has a no trade clause in his contract so everything we're proposing outside of a mobster deal will probably be impossible.
In an earlier post it was said that this is a hypothetical.

I don't think Brady would have come to Dallas. He chose his team carefully. He wants the deck stacked in his favor. Dallas would not have done that for him.
Brady would’ve good for Kellen Moore because he has a lot of influence in the playbook and playcalling. Very intelligent football player. Plus I think our roster was at worst jsut as talented as Tampa’s roster.

He might not have, rodgers and wilson may not want to come here, but you/they wont know unless you ask.
If anything, just trying to make a deal, and it fails might light a fire under dak and the team.

Many here said rams gave too much for stafford, and he would fail in playoffs, like he did in detroit.
Now Rams have another ring, it paid off.
If you dont make some big moves you probably continue to be mediocre, which is what dallas has been.

I am just stating what I would do, jones boys wont do this, they dont have it in them.
So dont worry, same team same coaches lol same results next season, have fun!!

I understand you have to make moves every once in a while. What those moves are matter.

On Stafford. I am pretty sure what the Rams gave for Stafford included taking on Goff's contract. Besides that, while the Rams won the SB with Stafford, the Cowboys would not have won had Stafford come here. We saw it how many years with Romo? We have more problems here than QB. How about we build a team like the 49ers or Rams? Then see what happens.

You may be right as of this moment. But Brady's top priority was to go to a team that has a shot at a championship, not money. We're talking 2020 here. Our team was terrible defensively. He would have won nothing.

Agree.Brady, granted I don’t like him is 2 things Dak isn’t. That’s smart and accurate.
Yeah I didnt like TO either before he came. I was adamant against him signing here after what he did at Texas Stadium. Well guess what, he came and he produced no matter how much I disliked him personally. That was a good moment for me as a fan of any sports team because it changed my expectation and approach to rooting for my squad. All I cares about is primarily results. I’m Not rooting for Boy Scouts

Actually in 2019, the cowboys were heads and shoulder a better team defensively than Tampa. Tampa was a bottom 5 team defensively in 2019 and Dallas was a top 15 defensively. So like I said we were a better team or at worst on the same level as the Bucs

But it was 2020 when Brady went to Tampa. Had he gone to Dallas it would have been a mistake. We don't know what Brady went by in order to choose a team.

yes and were one and done in playoffs with a last play where they looked like idiots.

Dak has won 1 playoff game in 6 years lol , I think I have seen enough.
Is it all daks fault? no it isnt, but with a better qb I think some more of those playoff games could have been won.

Dak would be better off on another team, I think him and elliot should go to colts on a pkg deal!
They need a QB, and add elliot to J. Taylor and they would have best run game in nfl.

If the 92 version of Jimmy were here, he would get 1 of these 2 qb's.
Rodgers did dominate in his playoff game this year. They killed the niners and got to the NFC Championship game. I agree with you. Dak lost his first playoff game and Aaron was great in his and they both played the same team. Aaron was great last year too when they had home field advantage and killed the Buccaneers to get Rodgers another Super Bowl ring without McCarthy. If you are going to live the dream at least extend the dream.

Which QB generated more points against the Niners in the Playoffs? Rodgers had a better team too.

2019 was his last season in New England. That 2019 Tampa Team is who he signed too. In 2019 we were a better roster than Tampa. Do you understand my point?

Exactly what has Rodgers won other than a Super Bowl back when the current head coach of the Cowboys was his head coach?

Would there be comments that Dallas wasted his final years because they couldn't build a defense, which lost the game and kept Rodgers out of the NFC Championship game?

Then the discussions would turn to how the team failed with Rodgers because it was Dak's fault. That would be epic.

If the the sum total of football knowledge was placed in a cereal bowl, and the sum total of football knowledge of this board was placed in a similar bowl next to it. The Cowboys Zone board would be less than empty.

If that was even possible.

Absolutely would not watch an Aaron Rodgers led Cowboys team. Not a single game.

Heard Rodgers and coach Mac don't get along.
