Purdy is another.
He’s a late round pick on a very good team with a quality offensive coach. That will always exist. He’s not a once in a lifetime situation in the mold of Tom Brady. We’ll never see anything like that again.

I swear the media is remedial sometimes! Why would he say or admit that he wanted too lol!!??
Jerry doesn’t have to say a word but we all know he’s stupid enough to think these crap wins are somehow important. The entire Garrett era was littered with them while losing draft position.

No one is saying the players should take a dive, but the team should certainly be doing everything they can from a roster standpoint to get young guys on the field. There’s no rule against that.

I don‘t blame Jerry at all for not wanting to tank. I do blame him and his giggling offspring for putting this team in a position where tanking is a subject to discuss.

Brady wasn’t drafted by the 0-16 Lions. But he was drafted into a very good situation. Purdy QBed his team to a Super Bowl in his 2nd year. I don’t see Purdy on the level of Tom Brady, but time will tell on that. He is, though, a Super Bowl caliber QB drafted later than Brady.

The draft used to be like 27 rounds and good players have been found all over, including QB. Still no excuse at all considering this teams situation. They’re not the niners or the patriots. Those teams didn’t just luck into a QB, they spent resources, kept looking and did a great job filling out the roster.

This team has done none of those things. To think we’ll just stumble onto a 6th or 7th round QB and start winning Super Bowls seems like a pipe dream considering the clowns running the show here.

"GM for life."
he isnt really a gm, he just calls himself that.
He doesnt do what real GM's do , so he isnt a GM.

He is just owner and head coach, he hires a HC to do all the work, then tells him what to do in certain areas.
It is quite insane, and I think people are going to get fed up with his nonsense.

Fish was a homer, and a apologizer for jerry, but even he is fed up.

That O coach has been exposed. The Shanny O is being battered all over the NFL. Stroud is really catching it down in Hous w/ Slowik, a Shanny disciple.

This team really doesn't need to "tank" to lose. They can easily accomplish it by playing the game as they do presently. His so-called "refusal to tank" is simply a choice of words to mask the fact that this version of his team isn't factually as good as he attempts to pretend. It's all about salesmanship, first and foremost. He'll always say whatever it takes to justify his ways, whether it's true or not. In short, his ego prevails and team comes in second.

..funny, that statement would not have come up. If Dallas wins last game.

More like playoff hunt.
Thats true, any realistic shot at the playoffs required winning out..............losing to Cinci was basically the equivalent of losing in the 1st round of the playoffs, that is why Parsons was so pissed.

...realistically, because of our QB situation. We didnt have a chance. Once Dak went down, even though he wasn't playing well. Still gave us chance to compete.

Rush is avg backup. We probably win Bengs game with Dak. Rush so errant on throws, has NO physcial mobility. We thought Dak was bad..lol..

Tank or don't tank, does it really matter with the so-called GM that the Boys currently employee???? Our GM has been flat out horrible at his job, his top picks turn into some type of project and his mid round picks to late picks round picks aren't worthy enough to make the practice squad team. One has to wonder if our GM takes ANY advice from the little worker bees that surround him.
