I just have this sinking feeling that Jerry has become too involved in the day to day activities. Anybody else have that concern?:

uh...where have you been?

No, not really. He likely has zero input on the game plan or practices.

Since 1989.

We just need a permanent bash Jerry sticky thread, and merge em. I bet it would surpass 1000 pages:laugh2:

give me an example of an owner giving a "pep talk" during halftime of a regular season game
Why? Even if no other does it, how does that make it "too involved?"

most owners sit in the press box, sipping a martini

Jerry is down in the half-time locker giving speeches, but I always thought the only people who do that were, you know...head coaches?

the one who actually impact how the team is going to play in the 2nd half

Right. Let me state this a little more clearer.

I concede that no other owner does this. But why does that make it "too involved?"

it's not his place. that is the coaches place.

he doesn't impact how the team is going to play in the 2nd half, how they approach it, what the strategy is going to be, what adjustments are going to be made

pushing himself into the locker at the half to make a speech is being too involved IMO at least

I understand that your opinion is that it is too involved. You've stated that several times.

What I'm asking is WHY you think that.

Why? Is it better if the coaches give a speech and give out game balls?

that post you're quoting pretty much explains why I think that

I'll make it even simpler, he's taking over one of the head coach's jobs, that's too involved
