Jeff Lurie the Mara man the silent kings all over this league hire GM’s to talk jocks and socks and scout slot receivers in Mobile in February . No wonder it’s 28 yrs and counting .

The funny thing is, in his first public speech in 1989 he claimed that "No one can own the Cowboys" and he considered himself a "steward" of the franchise.

Therefore, if he was held accountable for everything he says.....

The Cowboys have no owner, but they do have two HC's.

By the way, in 1992 he told some of the media when asked who the actual GM was, he claimed that the Cowboys had two GM's.

Welcome to “Dysfunction Junction”. Where the emperor is naked and so is his son. They both talk to fans like we’re 12 year olds who just bought a jersey.
As long as we keep spending on the Dallas Cowboys the Jones really do not care.

I didn't take it like that at all, he clearly says MM is the head coach and that he made this move with Kellen to help Dak.
He referred to having two head coaches meaning one will coordinate the offense and one will coordinate the defense, but said MM is the head coach.
Nothing to see on that front.

I found his interesting points were about Zeke, Tyron, Peters and Jalen Tolbert.
Does not fit the agenda so conveniently it is ignored

It is with tearful sadness that in the museum of Jerry's Idiotic Utterances, the first place comment, "We just had a Special Teams draft," has now been moved to second place.

Like LeBron, "We have two head coaches now," has solidly moved into first position.

Long live the new king.

Mike McCarthy has clearly been castrated from any say-so on the defense. Dan Quinn is King of the defense and I'm okay with that. When the Jones boys let go of Kellen Moore and gave the offensive game to Mike McCarthy, what they were really doing is giving MM all the rope he needs to hang himself. If the offense isn't better in the coming season, MM will be the justifiable fall guy.
