I think the reason he made the Parcells comment was because of his ego. Just like with Jimmy, he wanted all the credit.

And about hiring Parcells to get the stadium I'm just glad he is such a great business man. His business acumen caused him to make a great hire.

I'm not personally offended by his comments, but it does cast the Cowboys in a negative light. Ultimately I don't think it will make any difference in the grand scheme of things.
