Jerry's meddling. Again.

Could you specify the part of his comments where he called out the coaches?

The whole quote. He said that he shouldn't have been put in competitive situations so early then tried to cover it up by saying he understands what the coaches did. Can't have it bot ways Jerry.

this is exactly the reason the cowboys will never win any thing as long as he is the owner gm or whatever title he wants to have he should just shut up and leave it to the coaches

He gave his view but he also said it was the coaches choice, had he said I will put an end to this then I would agree. Jerry has said many times he is not the coach nor does he intend on being the coach which he could he that is what if he wanted since he is the owner and GM.

Actually he said that he was surprise, because given the fact that he hadn't played competitive football for a year, his body most likely wouldn't have been able to handle the continuous strain competitive football places on the body. But at the same time, given the LB situation, his capabilities, and the fact that McClain himself wanted to do it, Jerry understood why it was done.

Spin it how you like, but nowhere in your post, did Jerry call anyone out, or say that anyone shouldn't have done anything.

Calling out the coaches publicly is not the way to go about this.

“Rolando not having played for a year, plus having not going through the offseason program, I was really surprised that we put him in basically competitive situations as early as we did,” Jones said after Monday’s practice. “That was OK. He wanted to. Our coaches felt he should. But at the same time we’ve got to remember that he’s got to do some good running and the kind of things that are happening to him … that’s just classic response by your muscles for not having played for a year or not having worked out in the spring. Not just ‘football ready’ but just a guy that hasn’t been out here running as much as the rest of the guys have. You could make a case if you wanted to that, 'Gosh, make the guy run for 10 days before you ever put the pads on.' We didn't. He's getting that running in football drills, which are better if you can do it without doing some damage. Where I’m going with that is, the types of things that we’re seeing from him is the kind of thing you'd see from someone that hasn't run competitively in competitive situations and you're seeing the way your muscles respond. Anybody’s would. But I feel good about him. A lot. And really feel good about how he’s competing. He’s one of our better linebackers."

Sounds like a typical Jerry answer when asked about a player. Lots of caveats followed by sunshine.

Don't see him calling out the coaches, just listing off excuses for McClain's soreness.

The whole quote is calling them out. If you can't see that, take off the rose colored glasses.

The whole quote is a rambling mess of typical Jerry Jones propaganda.

All Jerry is saying is that McClain's body is sore because the coaches put him right in the mix. He's basically defending McClain not calling out coaches.

That is exactly how i read it

Jerry gives the fans plenty of things to be upset about and to be really upset about him meddling with.

This actually isn't one of those things.

If you can't get people to bash Jerry you know you're over reaching...
