I think it's pretty sad that this is a media story....and we are discussing it. I won't post in this thread again but I blame the media for this whole thing. Romo and Simpson are millionaires and don't need (or want) my sympathy but this is not fair to them.

I wouldn't think she could be a supermodel, but it's more the fact that she's known by millions.

Models may be known, but only by their face/body. For the longest, I never knew who Gisele was and I'd seen her in that wack Taxi movie. I actually just noticed this weekend that she was a Vicky Secrets model. Go figure.

Jessica was "enhanced" but height would definitely be a factor and Jessica is a shorty.

This Simpson stuff is non-sense I don't care if Troy Aikman said different who is sitting in the stands has nothing to do with what is taking place on the field. Dallas loses 1 fricken game with Simpson on hand and people get out of control with this BS

I wasn't really basing my opinion on fan reaction though. It was more media scrutiny than anything else. And even though Gisele and Bridget are supermodels, they're not superstars.

The media is to blame. Tony had a beautiful brunette from JUly till the middles of Dec. and it was never picked up by the media. Only the people in Dallas talked of it. So it is Jessica's people who keep the press informed and want the publicity to keep coming. ONly when she gets rid of those people will it stop.

Simpson had nothing to do with FOX showing her in the stands just as other celebrities can't control who the camera shows during games. She was at the Carolina game when NFL networked asked to interview her she declined. If she was looking for press she would not have done that. Only people making an issue of this is the media and the fans who buy into this enquiring minds want to know BS.

It just may be silliness, but I'm not willing to totally discount it either. Besides being a physical game, I see football as being both an emotional and psychological game. I think it often is the right mindset that separates the way two teams play on Sunday. I also don't think the Green Bay game totally disproves anything, too small a sample to be completly sure.

She had nothing to do with the GB game did she? Romo hitting his passes putting up 4 TD passes on the game in a critical matchup. Now tell me what did Simpson have to do with that game? I can tell you nothing just as she had no impact on the loss to Philly. She was at the Carolina game we won, she was at the Jets game we won but lose one game and all of a sudden she is a distraction? Sorry not buying into this mindless BS that has been created by the media and some are dumb enough to buy into it. They don't like talking about the games she has attended and we won now do they?

I am perfectly fine only hearing from Wade Phillips on the state of the team.

Whether we like it or not, Jessica Simpson is going to be a hot issue around it for quite some time.

But then are you saying in a 3 games she attended and Romo put up good numbers she was a non-issue but he has a bad game and in that case she was? It is like picking and choosing when she is a distraction and when she is not. She was not at the Buffalo game what happened in that game was someone else Romo knew in attendance? I give Romo a bit more credit for being a professional football player and knowing how to handle his business and there are going to be days when you go out and put up a stinker that is just life in the NFL but to place blame of who is sitting in the stands on the performance of a player is silly.

Ive learned one thing since I've been married,dont EVER think you can win an argument with a woman.saying that,WG,you're prolly right,no telling what she's done to stay the way she looks.and as for Jess,she couldnt have found a better guy to be with.Romo is way classier than Lachey could ever think of being.
