Ok? I wasn't talking about him. A real lack of literacy on this board.

That's beside the point, which is that no HC is going to make positional calls like that on the side of the ball they don't coach. McCarthy isn't deciding where to put Mazi and Saleh isn't deciding where to put Becton. That's literally what coordinators and positional coaches do.

You are totally clueless lol
Positional coaches work with the head coach. Find a clue yourself and get a bigger blanket to cover your ***. I can tell you never played actual football.

Yes, they tell the coach where players are the best fit.

The coaching you had 50 years ago isn't relevant today.

You are correct, I was coached differently in the 70's. But what hasn't changed is identifying the best position for a player, no matter what era played. That's why I stayed a MLB. They tried me at TE, but the coaches quickly saw that I couldn't catch a cold, let alone a pass, so on defense I stayed. For the better, too.

I would love to have a cup of Joe with Saleh, or any current Jets player for that matter

They are such a mess.

That wasn't the guy they needed to replace.

Guy was not setup to win... was told who the QB would be, OC, WR's etc... Not saying he was an amazing coach, but like the Jets are so dysfunctional. Rodgers will probably not come back next year and they will be right back to square one with no HC and QB. Yikes.

When was the last time Rodgers was able to be successful with a top end running back with him? They need a line that can run block for Hall and pass protect Rodgers. The Jets line cannot do both with any degree of consistency.

True, but that's not on Saleh.

Cool. Doesn't matter. You weren't in the NFL and you weren't playing a game that exists today.

But the point is that it isn't the HC making those calls in the NFL.

So Saleh was so awful they needed to have him escorted out of the building by Dom's brother, the Director of Security? What a mess that franchise is. Apparently Adam Gase wasn't escorted out
