If you did not like parcells doing the x's and o's...than why also hire Norv who would be tutoring and helping Garrett? I also guess that Sean Payton had nothing to do with the X's and O's with the saints...or insert other HC names as well.

However...I guess if they are not from New York you have no reason to worry. Because I know you don't have such a wait and see and it will be ok attitude with some of the New York (including Buffalo) players and coaches.

You bring up Mumbles as a person that looked bad at cleveland and came out ok...but then again I don't recall Bill struggling at two separate stops and then going on before having a good run.

How about a long line of coaches flourishing in today's NFL. How about them ACTUALLY (and by actually - I mean this is what they ACTUALLY said, not what I inferred) saying they value Parcells influence.

That trumps some bogus recap every day of the week.

just watch the games and you'll see most coaches w/ the big board in front of their face calling in the plays, again, they don't differ to the assistants, tell them to make up a gameplan, and he won't look until he calls in the plays
