Madden is a national treasure. I'm dumbfounded that anyone would not love that man.

He was so damn good. My earliest memories of watching our beloved franchise include his voice and him scribbling all over the screen.

He and Summerall were magic.

I think some of the most irritating commentary from Bucky Joe and his boy TrOY...is that when there are penalties, they are very quick to point out how Dallas got a way with one, or how the opposing teams penalty was not a penalty.
Only a few times did Troy say it was not a penalty on Dallas. But many times he is wrong, but won't act as if it was the wrong call.
Except on the face masks on Beasley, but that was way too obvious to disagree with.

If they clean that up, they would be much better. And the fact that Bucky Joe uses much more excitement when the opposing team scores a TD on us.

Was half expecting them to say Beasley should've gotten a taunting for staring down the defense after his showboat exorcist move

Somebody needs to find a way to recreate Summerall's voice on a computer and just use that to call games.

I think Buck is great, His dry humor and self deprecating humor, but I guess most of that goes over so many of the snowflakes here....

I think what I like best about him is is subtle wit. If you're not careful, you don't even realize how talented he really is.

I don't think that. I just think he's playing the role of the troll and he trolls both teams whenever the opportunity is there.

It gets annoying and it turns me to put the mute button on.

I grew up on the Summerall/Madden era where Madden was excited about football and loved great football players and coaches and plays, regardless of who they were. Summerall was there to be the straight man and didn't try to get himself over at the expense of the product on the field.
