I could tolerate him until I saw him self promoting his new book on thanksgiving........he's just not likable and thrives on the hate.....he sure didn't get any of his Dads traits.

If Romo doesn't go into coaching I can see him in the broadcast booth at some point...no wonder those philly guys hate us so much, Fox number 1 and 2 analysts are retired Cowboys...and their big stars are behind the scenes reporters that are absolutely biased, ie McNabb.

:lmao::lmao::lmao::lmao:
It would be great if dak gets poison ivy, mysteriously of course :|, and misses the super bowl. romo wins it and then he signs on as our assistant coach/offensive coordinator

I'm not a Joe Buck fan, and does it seem like Aikman tries too hard to be neutral when doing Cowboy games? I loved Pat Summerall and John Madden, they were the best...
Gotta agree with that, sir -- they were both charismatic announcers, had a flair for being dramatic and went together like meat and potatoes.

When I watch local NBA broadcasts and the home announcers are constantly crying about bad officiating and what-not I couldn't imagine anything more boring than that propaganda.

Franky I would abandon the whole broadcaster shtick and let like 3-5 dudes just watch the game and talk. something like what the fox pregame probably does when they watch. but in my scenario they'd be more natural friends than those guys are.

So instead of Troy being Troy: "let me tell ya joe when you talk about excellent football players I think you would be remiss in not mentioning this guy right here"

You'd get Irvin being Irvin: "this dude is killing them he needs to step up"

Troy's favorite player of all time and the guy he said he would've loved to have played with was Clinton Portis. I remember him saying that every time the Cowboys played the Commanders. I understand saying it once or twice but every time?

You got to admit it was hilarious when he wore a wig and put on sunglasses

I don't mind Buck... He certainly isn't the worst commentator out there.

He's much more tolerable then Troy when he tries way too hard to make himself seem objective by crapping on the Cowboys ...or Collinsworth slobbering all over the Giants.

Buck must get asked all the time why everyone hates him and this is one of his excuses, that each side thinks he's rooting against their team. Probably wishful thinking on his part. He needs to come over here and see some of the hate threads that have been started about him. He's so disliked here, someone started a thread moaning and groaning that he would be doing our game. This thread was started in 2010 titled the "The curse of Joe Buck." lol

There is no way Joe Buck is impartial to the Cowboys. All you have to do is listen to his editorials when Dallas commits a penalty that isn't called as opposed to the opposition to know this, but in the end I really can care less.

Buck is not wrong.

Every fanbase in every sport, save for maybe the St. Louis Cardinals, thinks that Joe Buck hates their team.

Its bizarrely funny.

Rewatch some big fox highlights. This is all in your head.

When Dallas makes a big play you're screaming and happy. Who cares About announcers right? When they're losing you're quiet and want an enemy and him being just as excited for the giants as he was for Dallas earlier goes much more noticed

It could very well be. I don't discount that as possible.
