Joe Buck: “Each side somehow thinks I’m rooting against their team” https://t.co/mnitwfLdrT https://t.co/iDu3fF0IeG
While I don't "dislike" him, my biggest issue with him is that he misses so many calls and non-calls on plays and he tends to harp on a dead horse issue a lot longer than he should. On top of that, he's been wrong on the rules several times with many fans knowing the rules better than him.

I think he lets rabid fan bases much like this one here get to him and he and Troy are overly careful to not act like they're rooting for Dallas. Especially with Dallas saving the broadcast networks this season and being on tv 97.5% of the time this year.

Troy with the penalties and close call plays has lost his damn mind

It's part of his schtick. Give the plebes someone they love to hate, just about effective marketing as giving them an idol. Well played Fox Sports, well played....

I think some of the most irritating commentary from Bucky Joe and his boy TrOY...is that when there are penalties, they are very quick to point out how Dallas got a way with one, or how the opposing teams penalty was not a penalty.
Only a few times did Troy say it was not a penalty on Dallas. But many times he is wrong, but won't act as if it was the wrong call.
Except on the face masks on Beasley, but that was way too obvious to disagree with.

If they clean that up, they would be much better. And the fact that Bucky Joe uses much more excitement when the opposing team scores a TD on us.

Aikman tries too hard to be neutral when doing Cowboy games that he swings the other way sometimes...other than that I don't mind Troy, but I really like Moose, but that's because I don't recall him doing many Cowboys games...

I actually really enjoy Collinsworth. The guy knows his football.

I know I'll probably get crucified for this comment but it's just my opinion.

There were a few games this season when Mike Tirico (sp) was filling in and they were quickly becoming my favorite...

He doesn't bother me one way or the other. I think it's tough anytime you have to be impartial for the benefit of the network and partial to your team for the benefit of the fans. Not only that but his dad, Jack Buck, was a sensationally charismatic announcer and a tough act to follow. Not having an outdoorsy sort of a persona probably doesn't help his overall football announcing appeal either. Think about it, that's really a lot to overcome -- lol.

If Romo doesn't go into coaching I can see him in the broadcast booth at some point...no wonder those philly guys hate us so much, Fox number 1 and 2 analysts are retired Cowboys...and their big stars are behind the scenes reporters that are absolutely biased, ie McNabb.

Close to 20 years with this guy and not a single classic call from him. Think about that...
As a Cardinals fan, I'll disagree a bit. "And we will see you... tomorrow night!" is one of my favorite calls in sports, but a lot of people didn't like it (because it was Joe Buck) and I admit I'm biased.
