Just the fact we exposed him to be poached...Eagles will pick his brain for the next 2 weeks. Insider information...Why even put yourself in that situation??? Just dumb IMHO...I think its an ego/approach thing with Milton. I remember hearing rumblings.
I could be a thousand percent wrong, but am searching for answers. Not to say he was all world, but the logic still confuses me. We traded a pick to develop a guy, who actually appeared to be developing, only to let him go regardless.
Im not saying this is a huge loss. I just don't understand what we were doing with Milton in general. If it is about intangibles, ego and such it would help to explain how little he appears to be valued in general.

Last I heard was he was with the JetsSign Will Levis.
The practice squad players are free agents. They don't have to give the team a heads up that another team wants them. They only do that if they want to stay. That makes zero sense. Jerry is the GM. Promote him to the active roster and the Eagles don't get him. He's acting the fool.
You can protect a practice squad player by promoting him to the active roster. Look at the rules. There is no situation where a player can be taken by surprise. The practice squad players are free agents. They don't have to give the team a heads up that another team wants them. Will give the secrets to our DHe will dominate.
Well obviously forever now. Joe isn't giving that job up. Meritocracy.I’m curious how long Hurts will be out now.
PermanentlyI’m curious how long Hurts will be out now.
Or he never developed just like Trance.Agreed-don't understand the whole process.
We paid a price for a player, developed him, then let him leave to our rivals.
Either we are incredibly stupid or we have overpaid yet again.

The other choice was to always have him on the active roster not playing and taking up a roster spot. This kind of thing happens with practice squad players.I think its an ego/approach thing with Milton. I remember hearing rumblings.
