If the Chargers continue to muff this up with Bosa, should the Cowboys jump? How much would Bosa be worth?

The deadline I believe is the 9th. If he is not signed by then, he cannot play this year. Then SD has the rights to him until the day before next years draft to sign him, or he can re-enter the 2017 draft.
The hold up is on wording or terminology in the contract, over guaranteed money or the signing bonus.

They can trade him too until tomorrow. But the new team would still need to sign him.

What's going on with Bosa?
Nothing really.
Minor holdout thru a week of TC due to some contract details.

They spent the 3rd overall pick for him.
In the sci-fi scenario that they would trade him at this early stage, it would take Dez Bryant (and his contract)....and next year's 1st. In other words....a whole lot.

No thanks I don't think this guy is worth the headache and I think there is more hype to this guy then real skill. I was so glad we didn't up getting him.

If he re-enters the draft, is SD compensated for the pick?

If not, there really may be an opportunity to have him in a trade. Give them our second and sign Bosa with the language he wants.

The team that would trade for him would have to have enough money left in their rookie pool to sign him. That is highly unlikely.

And when he does nothing his rookie year, he will blame the holdout.

I trade Jaylon Smith for him RIGHT NOW!

No one wants Jaylon Smith right now. No one would trade for a player who can't play this year.
You couldn't even get a short coke and bag of planter's peanuts for him. Geez...this ain't
Madden.

That's for sure and likely as not he would get hurt and straight to IR the first day of camp. Acts and sounds like a prima donna to me...

I don't think so, I think they lose the pick. But not 100% sure. Trying to look it up.
I would trade Leary and a 2nd round pick.

If we could get him for a second and Leary he is worth that.

Just dont think chargers would do that.

No it's the Chargers that are trying to short change him. Don't get this twisted, Bosa has done nothing wrong here.

Bosa is another player with a history with pot. There's no excuse for him not being signed. Looks like a player who could end up being a lot of trouble.

Love to have Bosa, but logistically near impossible until only if and when he re-enters the draft which I doubt happens.

I wish more people would read this. It is physically impossible to trade for him. No team has the room left to fit a top 5 pick into their rookie pool.
