I believe they can trade for himJump how? They have no rights to sign him.

Take the money and prove yourself. What's wrong with people. Millions equals set for life. And playing a game your supposed to love. Greed, it's that simple. For me anyways.
If I had 1 million I would be set for life. Being 21 is not an excuse to be stupid with money. At 21 I saved all my money. So yeah I think millions is set for life.Actually, it doesn't set you for life, especially if you're famous and only 21 years old. But it's a heckuva start.

That's your guys opinion. I'm just saying to me as I said in my original post millions let's say 1-3 million to me is set for life. Let's say and this is rare to me, but someone making 40,000 for 50 years that's what 2million. So millions in a few years and a career after football is set for life.Getting 1 million dollars at age 21 won't get you close to being set for life.

I'm gonna say for the last time I said a couple million. And I live cheap. So saying 10 cars and all that in a lifetime is just stupid. I own 3 cars and all are combined for $7,000 and are running strong, 2 of which I owned for 15 years. So not everyone has to live the big money lifestyle. No, you wouldn't. Unless you live in a crappy apartment, ride a bike, and eat cheese the rest of your life.
Here's $1 million. Oops, I'm Uncle Sam, so I'll take $350,000 of that right now, thank you. And I suppose you want a decent house. That'll be $150,000 at least, so you've already seen half of it gone. Well, no, there's property taxes, so that's about $3,000 a year for 50 years. So now you're down to $350,000 left.
Now, you'll want a car. So that's $20,000, and you'll need about 10 cars in your life, and in 30 years, they'll be $40,000, so now you're down to about $200,000 in the account.
Notice that you haven't eaten yet or bought a new pair of drawers?
Now, to see your days through to a mere 71 years old, you'll need to stretch that $200K. You'll have to live on $4,000 a year for the rest of your life. That's $10 a day for food, gas, clothes, electric bill, phone bill, gas bill, car insurance, house insurance, diapers, school, college for kids, baseball dues, ballet recitals.....and you haven't even bought an Xbox or taken a vacation.
Even $5 million is iffy when you're a famous athlete who needs privacy and protection.
Money goes fast.

Sure, it's relative.
But if you were wired for adrenaline enough to be a 21-year-old superstar football player at Ohio State and get drafted top 5, I believe your personality type would require more than the quiet life you prefer now.
It could be done, whos to say you would need 10 cars? Im 32 and still on Car #2, Car#1 lasted me from 16 til 30....and what some of yall are forgetting, is if even if you just open a basic savings account it will grow some, of course investing in somethin safe but solid would only help more.....Walmart for clothes, food and everything else and no kids (more and more people not havin brats these days) would be another big help......a 150K house you can always borrow against bla bla bla.....it would be a very basic life, but it could be done.....
Let's see. Say he is fortunate and gets 5% on his money. That gives him 50k per year.If I had 1 million I would be set for life. Being 21 is not an excuse to be stupid with money. At 21 I saved all my money. So yeah I think millions is set for life.

Yeah, sounds like set for life to me
I don't think you realize how silly this sounds. Not trying to be mean here.
