LOL. Not this year, brother. Wait until this time next year, especially if Ray tears up the CFL again in his new offense. Ray will only be 27 or 28 a year from now.ABQCOWBOY;1394549 said:No, not really. Now, Ricky Ray, he's a hot topic Philo.
I can fill you in if you'd like. LOLWoods;1394553 said:Who is this "Ricky Ray"?
Just kidding

Sigh. No, he's no "bum". The CFL's best QB would not be considered a bum.5Stars;1394568 said:Let me fill him in, OK?
Ricky Ray is a bum...!
See, phildo, I saved you some typing time...
I actually think Stanton is a good fit in Miami if they gamble on round 2 him being there.Avery;1394503 said:I would tell you but my decoder ring just blew up.
Harrington performed better than Culpepper last year IMO. I'd take him as a backup.
Miami must REALLY be hedging on Quinn dropping or they plan to take someone like Stanton in the top of the second.

Please don't mention the dreadful Q. Carter. Harrington has to be better than that clown. LOLGimmeTheBall!;1394590 said:Except if Romo went down -- then I would have a big problem with Harrington.
Man, this guy is so inconsistent, it would make us pine for Quincy Carter.
Miami, no powerhouse, is about to cut him. Doesn't that tell us something?
That Garrett likes him should not be a litmus test on that QB's viability.
If Garrett is smart as he is said to be he'll pass on that name and look for someone with skills who can be molded into a decent backup.

You need a typing class. Tell that to Garcia, Theisman, Moon, Kapp & Flutie. The talent in the CFL is better than you think. Why didn't Ricky Williams & Vince Ferragamo and others rule that league? Starters come from NFLEurope, they can certainly come from the CFL, and they have. There are only so many NFL jobs. Guys from small schools or those a little smaller or slower head north to play ball and prove themselves. Sometimes they get a shot, sometimes they don't. Two Grey Cup wins by the young Ray is impressive. You have your opinion, I have mine.FuzzyLumpkins;1394597 said:The parrallel to the CFL is the CBA. Every few years a guy will come out of the CBA to start for a NBA team but at best they are role players. The talent is marginal so competition is not remotely the same.
I realize you love attention regardless of howy ou obtain it but you hsould already know this.

My logic is just fine. Not every player is immediately ready to take the field in the NFL, obviously. Some need to develop and take more time before they blossom. They're certainly not "bums". This is especially true of guys from 1-AA schools. The CFL gives them the opportunity to get experience and better. Not everything is black & white.5Stars;1394620 said:Exactely! So, if those bums cannot land a job in the NFL? What does that tell you?
Get with the program, phildo...your logic is starting to sound like RedStink logic...!
