its a test of using your resources well and we have finite resources, any GM who pays a RB a 2nd contract is dumb.Philly just traded Shady and you can bet they started regretting giving him a big contract.

And because Philly just traded Shady is the main reason we should KEEP Murray, the division could be ours for the next 3+ years at least. Plus keep Murray until we find our next QB. I don't want us going 20 plus years without any success. Don't break up the band just yet, I mean first the Fat Boys, until we have drafted more talented youth. In a couple of years we won't have Witten, Romo may be gone, especially if you put a RB back there that can't pick up the blitz ... Keep this current group together until we can move on from Witten and Romo. Just saying atleast until we get our D playing much better.

If Murray prices himself out of Dallas, let him walk.

Draft Gurley or Gordon and do not look back.

Then take the money and apply it to improving the defense.

202 responses and that simple approach still makes the most sense.

So one of them or both will definately be there?

TWill? What is that all about?

Him playing "Man Hunt" when we need him to beat his 1 on 1 coverage. Also the fact he hasn't learned to catch with his hands. I'm all for him staying as a #3, I only want him gone if we continue to display a #3-4 WR as a number 2.

As the #4 option in the passing game (and The Bease stealing a lot of catches behind him) TWill is doing ok. 621 yards and 8 TD's is pretty solid.

He's not worth that at all. I really hope they aren't fools. He has one good season and yet, his fumbles were huge killers to our season. He started off the 1st drive of the season with a fumble we never recovered from. Turned the Skins game around with that fumble inside their 10 and then we all know about the one in the Packers playoff game. He does not make anyone miss. He seems to hit the wrong hole at times.

Do not want him back at that price at all.

I want Murray back for 7-7.5 .

He has came out and said that if he gets an offer from Dallas within range of other deals he will stay. There are very few LOYAL players of top talent.

I want a guy like that on my team, that is selfless. He is a top 5 RB that wants to stay with his team and lose a couple mill in the process. Fine by me.

His chemistry with the team is invaluable.

I understand the concerns with over paying an RB but I think Murray is invaluable in establishing an overall team mentality of determination and toughness which got us a few extra wins this season. I hope he accepts the offer.

7 million dollars is not a huge amount of money with the current cap. You'd pay the same for a good guard or center. The question is weather Murray believes he is worth 10 million. And if a team like Indy is willing to pay that, then that is what he is worth.

Yes stats are somewhat impressive.

At the same time, you and I both watch the same games. We see Dez getting double teamed, and Williams with his 1 on 1 coverage, not being able to break free.

Happened multiple times vs greenbay. Romo dancing around for almost a minute at times and couldn't find a guy. Williams is supposed to be the guy we can rely on. LR wasn't flashy, but he knew how to get open, and be relied upon as a number 2, when Dez drew attention. That's all I'm asking from this guy.

More than fair imo.

Yes... Its a good deal for DM.

I guess it may come down to guaranteed money... $2 mil per year more from Indy doesn't mean much unless he plays out full contract.... Of which he has no control of...

John Clayton is on the radio a lot here in Washington. He was just on a local show and said Dallas is going to offer DM 7-7.5 a year. Said that Indy will offer 8-9 and that DM will have a choice to make. Seattle hosts on a kick lately, saying if Lynch retires they can get DM. John shot them down, saying Lynch is going to wait until august to make a decision.

too much money. Time to move on from Murray I don't trust him. I rather draft a RB and bring in defensive free agents
