It's hard to play through a sprained foot and sprained MCL as a running back. In fact, you'd probably be better served by resting those injuries than trying to play through them.

Years1 and 3 were pretty good. He had 2018 yds and 11 Tds rushing and another 500 yds receiving.

What is your point? There are some athletes who can handle 400 carries. AP and Murray would both fall into that category.
