Losing Zeke affects so much I wouldn't dare conclude it won't hurt us. We need to win and I'm certain that Zeke makes us more able to do that. Every loss hurts us.
Get real. Every team better be prepared to lose a player here and there for whatever reason. If you're not prepared to overcome that, you better be damn lucky. If we can't win a game or two without Zeke, we're not good enough to win SB.

This pisses me off. Goodell is a real piece of work. Whatever evidence he dug up, it wasn't sufficient for a court of law to prosecute it. I can't stand this guy.

Sufficient for a court of law is not a good standard. Many domestic abuse cases don't get tried because of uncooperative witnesses. To avoid a suspension all a guy would have to do a pay the victim not to cooperate. That isn't a road the league should go down.

Zeke is the best player on this team. The most indispensable player on this team. This is a 8-8 team without Zeke at best.

As good as our OL is...Our offense needs a game changing RB to run...one that demands the respect of opposing defenses. McFadden doesn't do that.

I think we have a better record if we lost Zeke for the season versus the Dak of last season(I expect him to improve)I might be alone there but I stand by it.

As long as McFadden doesn't drop his phone again, a Zeke suspension shouldn't hurt us.

Plus Morris is still on the roster. I would not be surprised it is the primary reason he was not cut.

I think we'd be 8-8 without Zeke but I think we'd be 4-12 without Dak. Anyway just can't lose Zeke. This is a power rushing team. Any old running back can't just fill in. McFadden is fine in a relief role but not as a full time starter. It isn't just the yards it's imposing your will on the other team.

Wonder if Clayton was essentially repeating what Schefter said?

My point exactly, we weren't prepared with a suitable back up for Emmitt. We are now. Thanks for making my point.

Not sure opposing defenses respect McFadden at all. He's a fine player but I don't know if he has it to beat up on defenses..which is what we need.

Biggest similarity between Murray and Zeke is they excel in a zone rushing offenses and they lay hits on defenders wearing them down. I don't know if McFadden does that.

Well then our other players need to step up. Zeke can't do,it by himself.

If it happens, I believe Morris will start and DMac will be in the same role as last year.

I'm not worried; 2 games; DMac would be fine.
I'm more worried about our OL performance early in the season than about our RB situation.

While this offense is totally unrelated to his other errors in judgment, it might be good for Elliott over the long haul. We can't worry about who's available, who isn't, for whatever reason. Coach em up.

So your saying players just get investigated for no reason. So your saying he has not used bad judgement once?? So the league is just purposely picking on him because the league hates the cowboys??? Come on. Again im.not saying he deserves to get suspended, my point is going forward be need to know better not to put him self anywhere near situations where he could get or conceive being in trouble.

Who said he is being "picked on"? You are strawmanning.

"Investigation" =/= guilty. Investigations happen all the time, with how the league has taken a beating over similar issues like this lately, they are going to take their time.

But as of now and what Zeke has said is true, this woman is the only one in the wrong. He has text messages and multiple friends (One who is HER friend) agreeing with him. So, I will yet again say, what should he be suspended for that you heard in the news?

I get how you feel but you forget they will have to keep an extra RB for the weeks he is out meaning they will have to cut a young player they like. Who will you be okay with losing?
