Jerrahs being inducted into the HoF in about a month.

He is not going to say a word about a Zeke suspension.

But frankly Zeke has been a bit strange with all the visits to cannabis bars in Cali and pulling girls tops down in public recently.

He maybe needs a suspension to make sure he gets it.

He reminds me a little of Michael Irvin.

Always playing around the edges to see what he can get away with.

Where there is smoke..

Irvin never played around the edges. He trampled over them and napalmed them.

Am I the only one that wants to see Zeke get 2 game suspension and have Dak go off for two wins. The league wouldn't know how to process that and have moment of clarity that something special is happening in Dallas.

I wouldn't want to see it but I'd enjoy it if it happened.

It doesn't matter whether she was OK with or not, you seem to fail to grasp is that the LEAGUE is not OK with it....that's his employer......it puts a bad light on the league and more importantly, it's sponsors, where the league get the billions of dollars...it's a business, first and foremost... IMAGE of the league is what the Commish is looking out for and the billions the league gets from it.. Ask the vikings about image, who lost many sponsors over AP incident....money talks

While I don't always agree with this kind of stuff being right or not, from a league or business stand point, I do agree with you 100% on this post and it hit the nail on the head of the subject.

It really doesn't matter at all if she was cool with it, if we're cool with it, or whoever is. What matters is that the league and their sponsors are not and therefor these young men set themselves up for stupid suspensions that are easily avoided.

It's not always the fun route, or the route we all think should be okay, but that's how it goes with business. Especially big business.

So why doesn't Goodall just resign as commssioner so he can realize his dream of being a prosecuting attorney? Apparently, he believes he can do a better job than the current one.

That is an absurd presumption, to believe that your investigation is superior to that of a legal entity and therefore, without trial, you plan to pronounce sentence. Especially when you consider the fact that some of the events being investigated occured before Zeke was even a member of an NFL team.

What's next? Is he going to suspend a ten year veteran because he just learned the player was caught shoplifiting as a teenager?

This is headhunting, it is deeply suspect and undermines our trust in the NFL as a professional league of a legitimate sport. They have had ample time to reach a.conclusion and any delayed decision now seems biased, political, and downright shady.

Goodall spends far too much time trying to pacify politically correctness. The only bright spot is it may deviate his attention away from making rule changes that erode the fundemtal nature of the game itself.

Goodall should be investigated.

Nothing will surprise me but I don't see much happening here. But I was wrong once.

Very possible. I'm certainly not condoning it but perhaps this delay is Goodell's way of keeping EE on a short leash, rather than suspending him. If so, the league might abandon this crazy delay once the offseason is over. If so, it's still much too heavy handed. Yet, it wouldn't surprise me.

So your saying players just get investigated for no reason. So your saying he has not used bad judgement once?? So the league is just purposely picking on him because the league hates the cowboys??? Come on. Again im.not saying he deserves to get suspended, my point is going forward be need to know better not to put him self anywhere near situations where he could get or conceive being in trouble.
"YOUR" points are taken. "YOU'RE" not answering the questions about what situation did he put himself in.

Once (lol)

This is a DC-specific witch hunt; how do you penalize a guy for something that, technically, didn't happen from a legal aspect? Baddell is such a joke, how they haven't replaced him is beyond me...first example of why the owners should jettison this clown is that he gets booed loudly at any event where he has to speak (see: NFL Draft); this guy pronounces that things like this are in the best interest of the league, and yet, he hurts the league's brand every time he opens his mouth (figuratively speaking); they should treat him like the little 10-year old nephew hanging around at your house at an adult party - go get up in your room and don't bother us with your nonsense - don't you have something to keep you busy like your X-box?

These conspiracy theories are so ridiculous and the more people post this nonsense the more others start to believe it. It's Mara's fault (still don't get this one other than he's the owner of our hated rivals), its the officials fault (the same ones who just let the Cowboys get away with a penalty), its Goodells fault (granted he sucks but there are no facts that he hates the Cowboys; IMOF, the Cowboys are good for business so it could be the other way around).

I still have not heard one solid argument that supports any of these theories and if I call someone out all of the sudden I'm a troll.

Just stop! A lot of you sound like a bunch of whiny little 5th graders. First of all, nothing has happened, I do agree they need to come out with something soon. Second of all, Zeke missing a game or two shouldn't make or break our season. Third of all, just because a player doesn't break the law doesn't mean the NFL can't discipline the player, this is nothing new. Fourth, Zeke wouldn't be the first case of a player serving a suspension or some sort of disciplinary action for something he was never found guilty of in the court of law.

Overall, I agree the whole thing stinks but to me that's a product of the NFL as a whole. The league needs everything from more transparency, less gray area to new and better officials but to point the finger at one person and claim they have a personal vendetta against us with ZERO PROOF isn't getting old, it is old.

I swear it wasn't half this bad 5 years ago. I'm sure next time we play in the snow it will be Mother Natures fault, she hates us, it's not fair!

The NFL has already proven time and time again that they don't care about Domestic abuse. This all is just to make them look good. They are still dropping the ball. So if anybody lies they're automatically going to believe her even if there's evidence that she's lying. If there was a shred of evidence that Zeke was guilty I wouldn't say a thing but I haven't seen anything.

The league has allowed itself to become a slave to PC. Simple as that. Which means over reaction to the hot buttons of PC which right now one of them is Domestic Violence. So the league bends over so far backwards it does a double flip each time an 'accusation' surfaces. And the taint of the Ray Rice mess also factors in. Goodell got conned by Ray Rice's GF/Wife/enabler/whatever/ so he Is paranoid about that. By the way the gomers here trying to blame Goodell for everything as usual are a few cards short of 52. Goodell does not take a crap without a majority vote of owners. He takes all the heat for THEIR agenda. That is what he is there for.

Let's be honest, a lot (most) of the players bring it upon themselves. I think the whole Zeke thing is dumb and unfounded but he didn't do himself any favors on Greenville whether she was his gf and consented or not.

When the players join the NFL they know they ar held to a different standard and that is a result of the players association, collective bargaining, etc. It's pathetic that guys who are set to make millions for playing a game that they love can't keep themselves in check, especially in public.

This isn't isolated to the NFL either. Lots of people have been fired by their employer for things they've said or posted on FB. I had to sign an agreement with my employer that I wouldn't use tobacco. The NFL isn't that much different than several large empoyers or people who work in government jobs.

BTW, I just choked on my oatmeal. I bet Mara was behind it!
