The NFL is full of ****... The AUTHORITIES have closed the case therefore the NFL needs to back off.
This isn't about the one incident
It is about a period of time 6 days
Where she says he abused her.
No police were called.
In the Phil game we 8 the sideline
Girl did a report on this, and said
This is what the NFL was looking
Into.
It isn't about a crime but about
"conduct ".
So the NFL is just looking at
His conduct.
We don't know what they have
Found out but to look this long
They must have found something
Early on.
They might just fine him or
Suspend him just to prevent him
Doing something else later on.
Have to wait and see.

It doesn't matter whether she was OK with or not, you seem to fail to grasp is that the LEAGUE is not OK with it....that's his employer......it puts a bad light on the league and more importantly, it's sponsors, where the league get the billions of dollars...it's a business, first and foremost... IMAGE of the league is what the Commish is looking out for and the billions the league gets from it.. Ask the vikings about image, who lost many sponsors over AP incident....money talks
Yes. Yes it does...

I guess people really just look at stats and think McFadden was a difference maker in 2015.

What most people have a hard time understanding is that Stars don't just produce stats they produce wins. If both McFadden and Elliott have 1400 yds rushing for a particular season, many believe that means they produced similarly and were essentially the same player. But then you ask yourself ... if there's 5 minutes left in a game that you have to win (elimination game, playoff, or Superbowl) and someone has to handle the load does it matter which 1400 yd rusher you are leaning on?

I have repeated checked NFL.com for any related article posted this morning related to Clayton's comments but the league has not officially published anything resembling verification on its website. Can this be another case of speculation causing unnecessary greater speculation--with the latest in a long line of initiators being John "I Could Have Played An Alien In Independence Day Without Makeup" Clayton as the culprit this time?

It could have been, but this was word for word out of his mouth.

If that is the case, you just ignore a player like Elliott. That was Garrett's special winning mantra in the GB game.

Except then you remember Elliott ran the ball 5 times for 34 yards out of 11 plays in that last game-tying drive in the GB game. And that that he eclipsed his season average for both carries, yards, and yards/carry in that playoff game. A game they trailed in 21-3, by the way.

Oh, but you probably weren't serious, were you? I keep forgetting you like to see what sticks to the wall because cynical is cool.

Huh?

Who was talking about the game tying drive?

Wait. Is this one of those occasions where you try to come off as clever and at the same time defending the honor of the team?

You.

Oh you.

Mara and Goodell will find a way to suspend him.

Jerry and the NFLPA needs to grow a pair and sue the NFL all the way to the Supreme Court if needed. This would be an employee vs. and employer type lawsuit in a way.
Jerrahs being inducted into the HoF in about a month.

He is not going to say a word about a Zeke suspension.

But frankly Zeke has been a bit strange with all the visits to cannabis bars in Cali and pulling girls tops down in public recently.

He maybe needs a suspension to make sure he gets it.

He reminds me a little of Michael Irvin.

Always playing around the edges to see what he can get away with.

Where there is smoke..

At least Michael waited until we won a SB. I'm talking about that other stuff because I still don't see any proof with the assault.

I must have gotten confused when the poster you directly quoted brought it up and then you replied.
