John Harbaugh and Giants are working to finalize agreement to make him HC

  • In a 2009 book, Harbaugh stated that the Cowboys "stand for everything that's wrong with the NFL".
Harbaugh is coming to stomp a Texas sized hole in JJ’s ***.

He has no respect for Dallas or its fan base.
He isn't wrong when it comes to Jerry. He should feel sympathy for the fans though. We're stuck with him.

There is alot of great coaches still available, remember when Jerry fired Jimmy Johnson and he was available? That is nothing new
it was a remark Mikey said about a player, it was bad on his part. some around here remember the reference.

Great hire, I'm smiling ear to ear this fine morning! Harbaugh has proved over and over again that he can't win big games even when he had the best QB in the league. Get the fire trucks ready for Harbaugh when he crashes and burns in NY!
So, like the Cowboys, can’t win big games. I guess that’s good news for Washington and Philadelphia.

Still depressed over this.
Yea it sucks to see a division rival do things like this that you know will turn them around while all we have is Jerry Jones selling up crap for 30 years and won't do a damn thing.
He thinks by him saying he would write any amount of check, or he's all in, or we are going to spend our resources and go for it or, I want to retire with the most superbowls is enough for us fans. All we are fed by the old man is crap because his ego will never let him let go and do what really needs to get done. So we just continue to wait and watch season after season go down the drain before they even start.

jackson-dart
henry-skat
def- pretty similar, better DL but poor secondary.

but now he gets nabors as WR1 where as bal had no one close.

thats just my opinion.
Lamar is light years ahead of Dart and Henry couldn't be a more different back than Skattebo

Doesn't matter how good you think he is or can be he still has to prove he can do it right now up to this point in the history in the Super Bowl era no Super Bowl coach has ever repeated with the next team he coached not a single one I mean maybe Sean Payton has a chance but guys like Bill Parcells and Jimmie Johnson left and never did anything big bill Belichick can't even coach in college right now so let's hold off on anything beyond saying they got a good coach, and?
I believe his resume is about exactly like Mike Mccarthy no different no better..

We can hold off the slobbering and drooling and exaggerated use of descriptive words for this guy as if the Giants are about to go on a dynasty run it's ridiculous that's what we're trying to tell you all is to calm down They prove nothing by hiring a good coach..

And when Bill Parcells and Jimmy Johnson left did they recreate anything did Bill Belichick recreate anything Has any Super Bowl winning coach recreated and repeated with their second team?

So I just think people need to hold their water a bit i'm already getting a headache reading how much you think he's better than Mike Mccarthy Because he has a name but remember they have the same resume.

Act like this is a coach that ran out of talent maybe like Sean Payton did with the Saints one championship in 19 years is kind of sad actually but Drew Brees with Drew Brees they had three seventy nine seasons in a row..3 7-9 seasons

Yeah he left that team when it dried up but long before it dried up he did nothing with his superstars and by the way Harbaugh just left a team full of superstars where it counted I mean he literally did not do anything but get to an AFC championship game and lose with a multiple MVP quarterback and which will be a Hall of Fame running back actually having great seasons..

Although those two seasons back to back with Derrick Henry with Lamar Jackson they have not gotten better they have gotten worse and why else would he gotten fired if the team didn't think that he can do it..

the flip side to these arguments yes they got a very good coach, and?

Aren't we calling these retreads they're paying $20 million for these washed up retreads I mean you know what they say about the Cowboys because don't say he's better than Mike Mccarthy because his resume says otherwise You can say all you want about Mike Mccarthy but he was a Super Bowl winning coach who had a great quarterback which usually needs to go together had a lot of trips to the championship games but that's it...

I don't know. Why was Andy Reid available when Philly fired him. Why did Tennessee fire Mike Vrabel? Don't know Why Denver hired Sean Payton. He was a has been.
I don't know Mike Mccarthy has as good a resume as any of them and I already posted this i'm just gonna make this shorter you could read the rest Show me where guys like Jimmy Johnson Bill Parcells Sean Payton any of these guys who were back on the market did they recreate and win another Super Bowl the answer's no it's rhetorical i'm pretty sure I'm right on this it hasn't happened yet none of them recreated what they had on the teams they left..

By the way why do we want to give up on a MVP type top 10 quarterback and say well it's been 10 years they haven't done anything so we should move on so you're telling me like Sean Payton, Yes guys like Harbaugh 18-19 Years One Championship...

That's why they're out on the street because they given them enough time and they're not getting it done again and those who think they're going to do it again with their next team it has yet to be done so until then this is just a great name they hired and outside of that it's nothing because Harbaugh could not even recreate what he had with Joe Flacco when he has a multiple MVP quarterback in a Hall of Fame running back and allegedly had full control there was no medleying there was nobody like the jones family messing we get him and he could not do it again...

I haven't been this scared about a division rival coaching hire since Joe Gibbs returned for a second stint in Washington.

(sarcasm)

Crazy how a team that is sick of losing since 2011 would go out and write any amount in a check to turn it around. 30 years later and here we are.
Exactly. Jerry did try it with Parcels. Afterwards, never has again. We look unserious.

Guess they’ll be in the NFC championship game way before us again.
