Jones doesn't want to return to 'Boys

What team would want him as a feature back? Or pay him as a feature back?

Don't let the door hit ya..............cause you might fall down.

What did ya think I was going to say? lol
:lmao:!!!!

Not many people thought Julius would return so this isn't big news. But I thought he would leave because we wouldn't offer him a deal. Sounds like he isn't coming back regardless of any offer.

The real question though is: Now that we know he feels that way, can we afford to play him at all during the playoffs? I'm not sure I could trust a guy who let his feelings be known like that.

I think Jones will see some action and as far as trust I don't think that is a problem. Jones will want to do something to help draw interest from others. Going out and not giving effort or do something to intentionally hurt the team I don't think is a problem for a person in Jones situation. I may not think of him as a top RB but I do think he is a professional.

:D The feeling is mutual! Good Riddance! :D

Dont let the door hit you on the way out.

I have hated him since his ND days. Too soft for the NFL.

I wonder if JJ is just misunderstood.

Robots frequently encounter this dilemma.

The world be a perfect place if he reunited with Parcells but the Bears, Jets or Broncos would be my first guess. Dark-horses might be Atlanta and Arizona.

Biggest waste of a down in Cowboys history. A brilliant draft move by Parcells.

For a 2nd round pick, Julius gave us a ton.

Yeah, he wasn't the next Curtis Martin as we expected. But he played hard and gave us some outstanding performances.

Barber always gave the team a boost in momentum. I never really thought about it before, but now looking back, it seems like Jones sucked up momentum.

Exactly.

I'm not sure why folks have turned so much hate towards him. IIRC, he hasn't said anything to be a distraction to this team throughout this season. for me, that's all I require. If the team is moving in another direction at a player's position, just be patient and wait until after the season and then do your talking.

Got a lot of props for Bledsoe when he did the same after Romo took over.

I didn't see Jones quoted in that post. Are we sure this isn't just more of the media thinking they know the guys mind? Is he saying anything publicly trying to cause an issue?

While I think JJ could have done much better this year and obviously I think he will not be back, I don't know if this is a problem for us in the Playoffs. Unless he says something in the media I wouldn't worry about it.

I thought the same thing. I think this is just speculation on the Sporting News' part (which would be poor journalism if that's the actual case).

The timing for this is horrible. He was not quoted in the article, so it's probably more media nonsense. But why now? This team needs to be unified. Blasted mediots. Everyone knows that Julius wants to be a featured back. What RB doesn't? Creating this "story" when we're about to embark on our playoff season is classless.

People are turning on him cause he made that excuse about parcells making him run like a robot....and while some players have improved their play with wade's "let playmakers make plays" attitude, he has been even worse this year.

The reason why people hate on Julius is because he flashed such great promise early. Same deal as we have with Roy.

To some fans it is all or nothing.

Julius ran hard and I fully expect that he's going to give us some solid play Sunday and beyond.

So where is the Spears hate?

I guess once JJ is gone he's the next target then?

I was hoping there would be some quote or something in this blurb. I think it's a given that he won't want to return here. What isn't a given is whether or not there is a team in the NFL desperate enough to offer him a starting job.

People turned on him last year pre-robot talk. Fans are fickle people and if a player isn't great or up to their expectations, then he's scum.

Julius did some good things and he did some sucky things for this organization, but it's not like he completely mouthed off and pissed on the team. He's been a good teammate for all intents and purposes.

So I wish him well on his next team.

Yup, I agree with you.

Julius should have kept his mouth shut and just a good season then he could blame Parcells but when he blames others rather than himself and have even worse season than last year, it says lot (lack thereof) of his work ethics, character, and his talent.

For me, I don't dislike him or like him and won't miss him if he leaves, but if he stays, I hope he can be effective.
