Jones doesn't want to return to 'Boys

I never wanted Julius going into that draft. But after he came back from his injury and closed out his rookie year so strong, I thought I was wrong about him and it looked like we actually found something special.

I hate having to be right all the time.

You and me both.

I just don't get what happened to the guy. You weren't wrong in reassessing him, he looked like he was going to be a beast for a little while there, and then he regressed big time.

"But... but.... Parcells won't let me run the way I want too"

Such a disapointment, after his rookie season I was convinced he was a stud and picked up his shirt.

Ah well. Good luck wherever you go Julius.

It's amazing what a few strong games against some of the worst run defenses in the NFL will do for perception. He looked strong, but we all got caught up in what ultimately amounted to a few good performances.

There's really no news here.

This is from JJT's team report for The Sporting News.

Surely no one thought he wanted to stay in Dallas.

Parcells did a lot to fuel the perception with his understated 'you might have noticed, we've got a pretty good running back' quote.

You're career is all but over Julius. You will be forever relegated to a backup RB job. If you ever become a starter again, it will be due to injury to the feature back.

You blamed Parcells, then proceeded to have the worst year of your career once he left.

Just another reason not to waste playing time on him.

Any play that Jones gets over Barber is a wasted play.

Broncos
Cardinals - saw a blurb that Edge could be gone.
Lions - wouldn't that be a hoot? Jones for Jones
Bengals - If Rudi J. doesn't recover from injuries
Seattle
Chicago

There's a place for him in this league.
Kansas City

fair in every aspect. He just hasn't gotten the job done: period. He's obviously unhappy; I've never seen a guy look as uncomfortable as him on the field this year:I also wish him the best, but he'll be no better anywhere he goes.

Even with Larry Johnson there? Nah, I don't think so.

Healthy LJ > JJ
Not to start. Without Priest and Michael Bennett they need someone else besides the rookie Kolby. The local mediots are saying they will get another "known" RB this off season. Seems like a pretty decent fit for me. Of course the O-line is much worse then ours.
